  1. A couple of interesting automobiles at the campground this weekend. A '76 Olds Custom Cruiser, light blue with woodgrain, in daily driver condition. And a coral over ivory Nash Metropolitan with a definite patina and a little bit of body damage at the front bumper filler panel and hood. A very diverse set of spots.
  2. I had to google photos of pipe bending machines, but I think it was a mandrel type, based on what I remember from 4 years ago. I cannot find a dedicated website for the shop. They're Mennonites, highly religious and humble, most of their advertising is word of mouth.
  3. I had to review pictures, but yes, it was attached to the stump of the original system with a clamp.
  4. Rumor Has It I just bought Adele's awesome new CD, 21.
  5. IIRC, they charged me $425 for the whole job... they bend their own stuff and custom make everything.
  6. Leaves wither and fall to the ground in cold weather. How apt a name.
  7. There's a fantastic, highly professional, very reasonably-priced exhaust shop in Ephrata, PA called Red Run. They did my Sierra exhaust WHILE I WAITED, and it was beautifully done. They used stainless pipes, welded in the Flowmaster and the polished tips. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat of America.
  8. I never had a problem with the XTS front and rear 3/4 view, my issue with the car is the stumpy hood. Since the relief of knowing it is not meant to be a flagship for the brand, I am OK with it, as long as it is as unique as possible on the LWB EpsII chassis.
  9. Back when the Park Avenue and Roadmaster Estate shared a showroom, which car should have been considered the flagship?
  10. Mr. Bulgari has good taste in Cadillacs. The DTS is the last Cadillac to have that special mystique... big, powerful, serene, authoritative. Regal in stature. It's like Cadillac's foundation is gone. Truly a sad development.
  11. notch
  12. The Riviera Concept has a bit of drama, which I love in a Buick, but it is way too stumpy.
  13. OK Drewbert, thanks. I couldn't get on this morning, internet problemo. I'll try it.
  14. Well, you're mighty cute. Yup, I just tried it again, it says "max width 1500px, please choose a smaller image", or some such. Sigh.
  15. Well, ya know, I want to stick some pictures of my car in The Garage herr @ C&G... but, as with my last two vehicles, when I go to resize 'em to fit, they lose their resolution and just look yucky. What to do???
  16. Well, there's that, but the van itself seems worthy.
  17. They're pretty sure the Volt and Ampera won't warrant enough production to work the plant to capacity then. Cool. Next, and SOON, I need to see some Impy spy shots. I really hope it's not a slightly larger Malibu clone. That would suck a juicy one.
  18. It doesn't appear to be the same to me. The headlights are different and I see no ventiports in the overhead shot. Also there appears to be more front overhang in the overhead shot. Weren't there a series of "Premium Small" renderings in that cluster depicting varying designs? Yup, Mr. Bacon, that was a play on the Canadian Buick.
  19. Not scared, Frank. Simply disinterested. Passionately.
  20. It is a beauty. To sully the design with a FWD chassis would lessen its Allure, though.
  21. Looking at the specs, it appears the In Vitro hits a sweet size niche. I see no problem selling it here. Ford, GM and Chrysler abandoned the midsize van market (FWD Ram C/V notwithstanding). Heck ,you can't even get a short wheelbase fullsize van any more. Of course competitors are going to see a need and jump on it.
  22. turgidity
  23. Truck people want stone reliability and they don't want sissy band-aids or overcomplication to deal with.
