  1. Good advice, folks.

    uh, wootness

Didn't make it to the car show again this year (that's 2 years in a row now, blah). However I got to use a sauna for the first time, and it was fantastic... pouring water on the hot rocks and feeling the steam fill the little wooden room... ahhhhh..... and then when you come out of there, wow, does it ever feel therapeutic. I'd love to have one here at the house. Does anyone have experience with these?
  3. Warshed the racecor Saturday morning.
  4. Do not fry bacon while naked. It will lead to tragi-comic consequences.

After a LONG winter, this morning I head to Ocean City, MD for the Spring Car Cruise and to Rehoboth Beach, DE for at least the day, unless I can get a room at the Rams Head B&B, then I'll be overnight. So happy to be FREE! Enjoy your weekend, folks.
  6. If it looks normal, I predict a lot of Ridgelines traded in at The Dodge Boys.
  7. Someone who means a lot to me drives a red Redgeline, lifted a bit with bigger tires.
  8. White '12 Focus hatch. 10 minutes later, a yellow '12 Focus hatch in cross traffic while I waited for the light, followed 4 cars later by a dark blue '12 Focus sedan. My eyes were going blurry.
  9. Whoa, not an ambitious sales target. It could work, this thing. I always thought the Ridgeline was handicapped by its looks as much as its limited, true truck ability and its price.
  10. The 2.slow in this new car is 4 valves/cylinder? That's an update, IIRC the older version was an 8-valver, 2 per cylinder if my mathematics are correct.
  11. It's not very ugly at all. At least it has a pulse rate, something the Orlando cannot claim.
  12. You obviously have not detected the special feel in a Volkswagen. Relinquish the key immediately. Seriously though, how do the doors and trunk lid sound when you close them? How does it feel while driving, structure-wise? Having owned a couple of five-cylinder vehicles, I know they have an unusual sound. Does the engine song turn you off or endear you? Concrete roads are the worst for noise, no matter the car you're driving. Rolling a tire on a concrete road is like running your fingers along corduroy pants... you're going to play a tune.
  13. Local dealer has 4 new Chrysler 300s, in different trims, all very nice. Also a red 200 S sedan, which looks very good with the giant rims and blacked out trim.
  14. Boss' wife is picking up her 2011 Cruze on Thursday evening, a tan LT.
  15. Also, DUH, where's the coupe bodystyle? Where's the dorky looking 5-door hatch? The changes all appear to be positive, but they're still not enough for a corporation with only 4 brands to sell.
  16. I love a manual transmission, so this is pleasing news.

    A baby Enclave

I guess it'll be in lieu of a Verano wagon, since it's on the same platform.
  19. 2.4L longitudinally mounted in RWD Kappa cars.
  20. I wish I could find and post a picture forwarded to me on my phone. "Muslim Prostitute" involves 3 holes strategically cut out of the front of her outfit. Completely blasphemous.
  21. He's a delicate young man, Hudson.
  22. I was actually kidding about the fender skirts, in reference to the other thread discussing Pontiacs with them.
  23. We're all on board with ya, El Capitan Camino!
  24. That's one radical diet you're on. Guppys are bitesize, like ocnblu ... Well ya know... bite me then!
