  1. nada, zilch... ZEE RO
  2. Agreed, ZL-1. The exterior appears production-ready. The interior is a bit over the top for production, though.
  3. The doors look tiny. The outside door handles are awkwardly low. It looks hard to get in and out of. Two chunks of long-dead wood on the interior? Are you kidding me? Looking straight on at the dash, with the placement of the vents, reminds me of an Audi TT. Potential buyers are taking a hell of a risk, plunking down that amount of money on a car company this young. Where is Fisker going to be in 10 years? Five years?
  4. Bimmer, that is a time-honoured Volt troll word I was using there.
  5. Excellent post, ponchoman. It is good seeing ppl sticking up for their vehicles. Owners know, non-owners go by hearsay.
  6. That is unbelievably nice. A real Chevrolet. I'd be proud to own it.
  7. AARE TTHE CCHAMPIONS
  8. After some initial trepidation, this has become my new favourite box car. I really like the pickup trucklet, although it is certainly too small to replace the GMT355. As an addition to the truck line, it would be spiffy. Certainly would need more power than a Cruze. Diesel would be terrific.
  9. Chrysler-->Fiat rebadges for Europe are nothing but a grille and logo change. What makes us think the opposite will be different? Whoa, I just scared myself.
  10. If a Cruze diesel means we will be spared the Spark in America, then I will put a deposit on one right now.
  11. Has a lot of kit car, or not fully-realized design elements. Also sounds like it has some engineering problems.

  13. vaporware, not ready for prime time Back on the Volt, what is it doing to your electric bill? Not sure how you can figure on your own experience with this. Citing sources won't do. I think this should be a part of your report.
  14. poof
  15. TJ, that sounds like a worthwhile difference. I had one in my '04 Colorado, maybe next month I'll spring for one in this one.
  16. Out of the three major eco-weenie modes of transport... Prius, Leaf and Volt, Volt wins every category. Hands down. It's just not for me, even if I could afford it.
  17. Moltie has my vote, sry.

<iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/drBYWdKDCfg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Pontiac is gone and I will always have a diminished enthusiasm for GM because of that. But Buick remains, and it is high time they took up some of Pontiac's slack in the hierarchy. A modern Regal GS coupe might ease a bit of pain... even if it is wrong wheel drive.

    Cool Regal

<iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/x8qjN-o5kzs" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Oh look, it's a Buick Regal with only TWO doors! And check that hood bulge, snazzy paint job, t-tops and plush interior. Buick was on the money in those days. How izzat possible? I hope that's not cheese they're "cutting loose".
  23. <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/3zb64y6Nvs0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> I forget which news channel I saw this on. CNN?
  24. Interesting Saturn swoosh down the side there. Yes, the Concept coupe rides at a normal Honda height, and hopefully these horrible pictures of the production car are not representative. Otherwise they're copying the Chevrolet Cobalt 4X4 Ride Attitude.
  25. Now this is progress. They must see Volkswagen's TDi trending ever upward. The diesel will fix the car for economy, but what will fix it for fun, youthfulness and non-invisibility? I almost rear-ended a dark blue Cruze yesterday with temporary tags driven by an 80-year old dude. He slammed on his brakes and turned... no signal. Sooo fitting a fate for this car as it is presented.
