  1. Good idea to move on, yeah. Too much money for 125k miles, especially if issues loom.
  2. Sounds decent so far.
  3. Even "rough", it looks really good, TJ.

  7. Decent. How has the interior held up?
  8. Sonic is decades younger than Cruze.

  10. I enjoy delivering bulk products.
  11. two hundred dollars
  12. I sawr a report somewhere that Dodge cars will do away with the crosshair grille. At first reading, I think it's a mistake of epic proportions, but I thought I'd throw that in herr.
  13. Don't like the weird spoiler on the back of the Si coupe, and sincerely hope the EX doesn't have it. Not gonna say anything bad about the car because I am so happy they haven't abandoned their many coupe customers. I am sure this car will look better in natural light.
  14. GM photographers snuck into Honda's headquarters?
  15. fare
  16. Native American goodness. I'd buy it with no reservations if I had the money and proper storage facility.
  17. I hope whoever gets it restores it to original and doesn't needlessly cut it up or otherwise ruin it.
  18. That would be wicked cool to have. Gold on gold is the only color I remember seeing these in I think. I notice the photos were taken in 2009.
  19. Very strong advertisement.
  20. Scorpio
  21. Oh man, reg, that looks like my '91 S-10 interior (only that is clearly an S-10 Blazer). I actually liked the first dash design better, in my '83.
  22. Good article, Drew. I liked the Chevrolet ads this year, it's just that the Passat ad pulled on heartstrings most effectively, while highlighting a feature of the car. I guarantee you more non-owner people know about Volkswagen's latecoming remote start button than they do about GM's long-running use of the feature. In a way, little Darth could be seen as Everyman going through his day, enduring tiny failures, until he encounters the Passat. Suddenly, he is successful in his endeavors. Volkswagen has always had good advertising, going way back to the 60's with their self-deprecating Beetle stuff. The Camaro ad was dryly clever, two guys fantasizing stream of consciousness about a chick in a Camaro. But it ended awkwardly and didn't really present any specific features about the car (OK, the last line of the voiceover "426 horsepower" could be construed as a "feature" I guess). The static shot of the silver Camaro at the end showed the car in too mundane of a setting, in too mundane of a color, imo. Silver was perfect for the Passat, but not for a Camaro, which is supposed to be an attention-grabbing vehicle.
  23. I don't pick on you until you show your anti-GM bias without knowledge in your posts. And I don't go to other makes' forums and attack their cars. I do it here, and I am fair to Chrysler. It seems normal to me if I have a curiosity about a vehicle function and I don't understand how it works that I would consult the owner's manual. Did you read the manual when you bought your camera? EDIT: just went down to my garage. The cruise control functions ARE labeled with international icons, including the coast feature... the icon of the speedometer with the hash mark (indicating cruise control) and the arrow toward the lower end of the speedometer (indicating coast). No words necessary.
  24. Dodgefan (or andrew p, I saw your biased comment in the Colorado thread over at Autoblog), have you stood on the side of a running Viper? All you hear are 5 cylinders churning out of that side pipe. It's a V-10. Like the Ford F-series V-10 and the Volkswagen, Audi and Volvo 5-cylinders, they have a distinctive sound that comes from an odd number of cylinders, and they all sound similar. As far as the cruise control goes, the owner's manual is your friend. Read it before you spout off, son. And the stalk? Those of us who have driven GM for any amount of time understand the stalk and are not harmed by it.
  25. I'd love to see this happen. The government doesn't like him because they're currently a bunch of ecoweenie dreamers, and Bob is a REAL car guy.
