Selling a Chevrolet Malibu (remember, no more Daewoo-branded vehicles) or "Epica" overseas first to "get the bugs out" could also be perceived this way: GM has no confidence in the product, no confidence in their development testing, and they're using the buying public in Korea and Australia as guinea pigs before bringing it to its home market. Brutal criticism? Perhaps, but this practice is a sketchy one. Like the Cruze, US buyers will see it online for, oh... how many months or years before they can buy it, greatly reducing its freshness when it finally does hit the lots here.

I still say the Acadia needs to be butched up to match its little bro, Terrain. And I do not like pearl white paint, but I imagine it's available in other colors. I do not like the washed-out driftwood interior trim, either. Also, the bodykit does not help its looks at all. If I were needing something like this, I'd take an SLT in green or one of the dark colors. The Yukon is also too soft in the front end, like a droopy dog cartoon character. As it stands, I think an SLE-2 AWD Terrain in Walt's blue with chrome package would suit me fine if I could afford it and were in the market for a CUV.

I don't like the sound of that. GM desperately needs people who are genuinely passionate about the company, its history, and keeping the flame of continuity lit.

Shoot, yes, add the 5-door hatch to my plan, even though I wouldn't buy one, I think it would sell alright.

1. Add a coupe and soft top convertible bodystyle in LT, LTZ and SS with RS availability on LT and LTZ. This would Americanize the Cruze, which currently has a distinctly alien demeanor. 2. Snazz up the styling of the vehicle. Currently, without RS, it is a snoozer, dated. 3. Add the 2.4 as an extra cost option on the LTZ. Put DI on all engines. 4. The SS is a 2.0t FWD with 6 speed manual or paddle shift auto. Evolutionary tweaks to the 2.0, six speed transmissions and the improved chassis of Delta II would be enough to swing it into success beyond the excellent Cobalt turbo.

I too vaguely remember Gino's, they were in Lancaster when I was a tot. It'd be cool to see them back in this area again. Five Guys is a burger-lover's delight, too. All they serve is meaty, greasy burgers and fresh-cut fries... oh, and don't forget the in-shell peanuts while you're waiting.

When will the convertible be available? Are there any plans for more special colors, like the green, which went mainstream for 2011 after special edition status in 2010?

FIRST... just seems absolutely wrong and totally foreign to everything that has made me believe in GM my whole life. They suck, simply put.

All true. Even a brand new mirror, installed by us, would be well under $500. You will most likely have to take off the interior door trim panel to get to the plug.
