  1. I understand the Dodge Challenger has outsold the stalwart Ford Mustang so far in 2009.

  4. So tell us PCS, what do moth balls smell like?
  5. Well I believe your picture is of a '71 Caprice. Time for the first ever C&G Journey to the Bottom of the Sea. We gotta solve this mystery, gang! Crank up the Mystery Machine!
  6. GM just has TOO MANY BRANDS!:AH-HA_wink:

  11. I'll have to try bacon in the oven... on a wire rack, in a baking dish for proper fat drainage. Sounds good.
  12. I wish I had pictures of all my vehicles. Nice!
  13. Isn't that a Skyline, ancestor to the Skyline GT-R?
  14. I saw that over there @ Autoblog and I laughed my butt off, bunch of dummies.
  15. Well, we know by the general shape it is a '71-'76 GM B or C body coupe. Because the quarter glass area does not appear open and appears smooth with no cut-out for the glass, it makes me think it is a later model because they had fixed, flush-mounted quarter glass. SAmadei, I think you're right about the lack of a fin, but because of the smooth quarter glass area, I believe the car to be newer than '73. I wish more photos were available, I love this kind of mystery.
  16. I hope you're havin' a good 27th birthday, sir.
  17. What I get out of it is, they are de-emphasizing this very promising engine because of the hybrid trucks. I got news for GM: not everybody wants the complexity of a hybrid powertrain. A diesel is much better than a hybrid, imho. Here's an idea: why not marry the 4.5L diesel to the hybrid driveline? That would gain even more in efficiency numbers. Offer the diesel alone, and in hybrid form.
  18. I use 93/7 beef when I make burgers for mine, but I put a little olive oil in them. They turn out fine for me, I just keep checking them. I also mash them down as flat as I can, because when they shrink from cooking, they can also get thicker. The flatter they are, the sooner that can come off :shrugs: Salmon filets turn out fine, too. They don't take long atall.
  19. Looks like a '75-'76 Cadillac Coupe DeVille...

  23. Over at A/W magazine's website, Natalie Neff interviewed Ed Welburn for a short video. The subject: The Cadillac Converj concept vehicle. Dude is the quintessential designer: suave, debonair, soft spoken, eloquent... he's done a great job as head of GM Design, and I wish him many more years of success at my favorite automotive company. Ed Welburn, I salute you, sir!
