  1. It started at age 18 for me. I'm just thankful I have hair. Why have we never seen a pic of PCS from the back? Is there something hiding on the back side of that hedge? A BALD SPOT, perhaps?
  2. Excellent.
  3. Because you have the added benefit of being able to steer with the throttle. Adding throttle to a FWD car in turns only makes it push toward the curb faster.
  4. Young Skywalker, you must inject some love into your smartassedness. Lighten up. Come awaaaay from the Dark Side.

    Polo, anyone?

After seeing this, the Fiesta comes across as trendy. This is better proportioned, conservative, yet sporty. Yes, the interior is plain, I'll guess it is a deliberate return to simplicity for VW. Very purposeful, a trait I love about VW that they've gone away from in recent years. The article states start of production for the 5-door, with no mention of a 3-door. I hope that's an oversight, because I am a 2-door kinda guy.

    Polo, anyone?

Well I've gotta make sure I'll be able to get parts and warranty service.

  8. Grand Prix 2+2. Sad thing is, the Pontiac only had the 140-hp version of the 305... it should have at least had the L69 HO 305 used in the MC SS.
  9. Gee thanks, John Borger Mellancamp IV.
  10. This car is serious, sporty, functional, buttoned-down, non-trendy and all-around a cool little gem: New Polo!
  11. That maroon one with the big rims, drilled rotors and chrome handles looks very good. If they don't produce a 2-door, though, it's no sale for me.
  12. Nah, too reminiscent of a sandwich.
  13. Yeah, I think he needs a long, skinny wire brush for one of the Healeys.
  14. It doesn't seem normal as a Rolls-Royce.
  15. Spiffy there, siegen. Best of luck!

  17. Well I hope her words don't ring hollow 4 years down the road. I'll always have a spot in my heart for Pontiac... I'd love a chance to put another one in my garage.
  18. Well enzl, when I bought my Cobalt, the dealer had at least 5 XFEs on the lot (Sept '08), coupes and sedans. Mine is a 1LT with chrome trim package, so it is not a penalty box. It's fine for what I bought it for... as a commuter car with GM serviceability, clean, inoffensive looks, good fuel mileage and power options. The Ecotec engine is a gem, fine power and good economy. The only thing I feel I am missing out on is alloy wheels, easily remedied in the aftermarket.
  19. Cute little dreadnought.
  20. Whoa, snappy.
