  1. Watching Hyacinth Bucket (pronounced BooKAY) on Saturday nights under a blanket in my recliner.
  2. Ew, Harley, what is that pathetic excuse of a car doing in your sig?
  3. Mr. Croc, I am afraid all of your bluster is for naught in this thread. You're on the wrong side of the argument here.
  4. break
  5. Somebody's a lot of fun @ parties. Wow.
  6. dungeon
  7. I have to have both.
  8. You guys who are saying "sex"... question: how far are you chasing this person?
  9. Yes, diabetes, and your ass will literally fall off if you laugh. So don't eat pineapple. And don't laugh.
  10. Very tight in all areas. A quantum leap above the current Equinox. I am pleased they didn't try to squeeze a tiny third row seat in there, it would just be in the way. Love the style inside and out, and the powertrains continue GM's industry leadership. Well done.
  11. GM: "Yes, Pontiac is our second-best selling car brand in the US, even with what some call "rebadges", but instead of being creative like we were with the '58 Bonneville which FOCUSED the Pontiac brand and allowed it to reach incredible heights of desirability, we've decided to simply give away our Pontiac customers to anyone who will take them. After all, who needs variety? Who needs market share? Who needs customers? We don't need no stinking customers! Customers, BE GONE!"
  12. Not to hijack an entertaining thread, but wow, for those of us who were there, look how far GM has gone since the class action lawsuit brought by customers when they bought Delta 88s with Chevy motors without being told beforehand. It was blasphemous to think of mixing engines back then. Damn, I wish I had some pineapple to snarf on.
  13. The home team deserves our loyalty.
  14. I've been a lifelong fan of walking. When I was 2, I wandered off into a summer cornfield for a long walk and panicked my grandmother. It was so relaxing, walking between rows of corn, letting the big green leaves softly brush my bare torso, pollen from the tassels falling into my light blond hair. It seemed so endless... We had a .75 mile farm lane, my cousin and I used to walk to the house in Spring afternoons after getting off the school bus. When I lived in Easton, MD, I used to walk a 2 mile route through my housing development. It was so refreshing and rejuvenating. Before I joined the gym here in Lancaster, I had a route through a military cemetery next to my house, another 2 mile route, with hills. Many a hot summer night, late, I'd go out there with my sneakers on. Peaceful. Lately my gym routine has evolved into a treadmill-only affair. I have dumbells here @ the house, and from what I've read, weight machines with their restricted movement aren't really good for the body. I have found that 20 minutes a day, at a 7.0 incline and 3.4 mph on the treadmill keeps me feeling good, mentally and physically. On days I don't go, I definitely feel a difference in my energy level and my attitude.
  15. The German government will see to that, I'm sure.
  16. reg, bad boy, your 2:22 post made me a little hawny.:AH-HA_wink:
  17. I am going to repeat moltie's ranking of these three, when seen together. What a startling contrast between the three. The Lincoln defines the word elegance and conveys a quiet, confident, wealthy air with no trace of pretense. The Cadillac comes in at #2 for me, as it appears to be a car in transition. The Imperial, as imposing as it is, just looks outdated when viewed next to its contemporaries.
  18. Veruca Salt
  19. Smith & Wesson
  20. Mr. Jacket, hinge pins and bushings are a fairly simple repair, but yes, the disintegration of brass door hinge bushings is one of my peeves with GM trucks. I think that's all changed on the GMT355 and 900, though.
  21. I see one of those pups is getting a little gray around the edges, so sweet and sad to see that happen to such a good friend. Nice pics, Vipes, maybe you have a future as a pro?
  22. Oh man, I hope the G3 GXP comes in a Black & Gold edition, with snowflake wheels, a shaker hood, and t-tops! Just watch ol' Bandit run!
  23. If there is, I haven't seen it, balthy. Mostly it is divided into sections profiling each head of GM Design down through the years, and how each man shaped GM styling. There are some nice photos of concepts we've seen before, and some production cars. As far as photos, I see nothing revelatory.
  24. That guy has a bunch of vids on YouTube. I like Smosh better.
