Odd story: I went into the Cold Stone Creamery this afternoon. I was the only customer. The kid behind the counter (the only visible employee in the shop) was making my sugar-free Founder's Favorite when he suddenly bursts out "are you into wrestling?" I was like "pardon?" "are you into wrestling at all?" "no, dude." "do you know who Chris Benoit is?" I said "oh yeah, I read about that" "did you know he died?" A very odd outburst, imo.

I usually run the truck through my favorite automatic touchless wash once a week. Seven bucks a pop, I get "the works". I usually spray down the wheels with Simple Green just before it goes through, and wipe it down with a towel afterward, keeps it nice. Right now, it's downstairs in the garage with a severe case of bug splatter, sigh, from coming home from the beach last night.

There's like an '89 blue Sedan DeVille in ratty condition, loaded down on its rear springs, its back seat packed full of stuff that should be in a house (clothes, mail, etc.) always parked in front of Borders Books (I've seen it only a few times elsewhere in parking lots). It's true, ppl still live in cars. I keep wanting to ask the cute guy in Borders if he has a homeless coworker, but that would be rude.

Picture it: the wayward Chas whipping into the driveway, routinely pressing the remote, bumping the car into the garage door because he cannot get stopped in time. It's raining. He sits in the car, repeatedly pressing the remote to no avail (is the power out?). Incensed, he gets out of the car with the remote, almost pressing the button through the device. Finally, he bursts out bawling, he throws the remote to the ground and starts banging on the garage door. He's soaking wet, his mascara is running, his hair in his eyes, he cries and falls to the ground. Meanwhile, Drew is lounging in his living room with his hot new friend. Hearing the faint banging, they whisper to each other "is that thunder?", and take another sip of champagne.
