  1. Happy Birthday, Cort! All the best to you.
  2. Very interesting item there, Stang.
  3. That one caught my eye as well.
  4. Another nice truck at a decent price!
  5. The perceived demand among luxury car buyers for DOHC is a myth perpetuated by automotive hacks. It is a non-issue.
  6. Drat! I was hoping that the stars would align for this one - it isn't a deal that will be repeated I'm afraid. I'd buy it myself under other circumstances.
  7. I'd like to disagree... but I can't.
  8. What is catching your eye?
  9. Gorgeous, cool, weather this morning. Seems to have brought out the classic two-door SUVs. First, I saw a circa 1990 Ramcharger in nice condition. They weren't all that common even back then, and certainly a rare sight today. Then I spotted a mid-eighties Bronco in exceptional condition, top removed to enjoy this perfect Autumn day. All from behind the wheel of my own 2-door Tahoe. Not a bad way to start the day.
  10. Yes, and quite a bargain too.
  11. Not that I've seen..but I suspect the dimensions for the ATS will be close to the that of the current BMW 3-series or Merc C-class...approx 108 inch wb, 179-180 inch length, 70 inch width...maybe 3300- 3500lbs.. I always felt a bit cramped in a 3-series...
  12. PM a mod or Admin.
  13. I think some of it is in thousands of pieces scattered across the floor of your barn. Touche! BTW, that was just for the photos - took quite some time to get it all put away again!
  14. Scroll-up, Moltie.
  15. Do we have any real specs on Alpha yet?
  16. Found some info on it: http://pontiacsonline.com/Farago%20Pontiac.htm EDIT: I knew there had to be a connection to Italian design houses!
  17. Nothing less will do.
  18. I sure hope you're wrong about that. No chance that I'll be buying any of the boring stuff they are pushing now.
  19. I would guess that those so-equipped are dealer demo cars.
  20. Speaks volumes, doesn't it? As for Alpha, I hope it is equally flexible in width. Details on both Alpha and Omega would be helpful. Whatever platform it rides on, I want a non-Caddy, RWD, V8, manual,2-door something that isn't a Camaro. The G8 was just the right size, if not the right bodystyle.
  21. The old girl is up and running! Picked-up the tank mid-morning. The shop boiled out the crud, re-did some old repairs properly, and sealed the inside. I brought it home and gave it a quick scotch brite treatment, prime and paint. Then I installed the new sending unit/gasket, the tank itself, and a new fuel filter. Charged-up the battery and ran the car a while. Lousy weather, so no test drive, but no leaks either and the gas gauge seems to be reading fairly accurately now. Not to shabby for one rainy day.
  22. Zeta is pretty exceptional itself, and Alpha is too small.

  24. Rediculous comment,Satty.
