  1. They are Alaskan Malamutes, and they don't dig very often (unless they are after something). But, other than the way they look, they wouldn't be such great guard dogs - they like everybody. Still, they are intimidating to look at. Here's a pic of "Killer":
  2. Glad I'm not a turtle.
  3. Mine remind me... often.
  4. Ha ha, well they usually are. ...if you aren't a small animal.
  5. Seeing more older stuff here too. In fact, the last time I saw so many older cars being daily driven around here, Carter was in the White House. Not a good sign. I've actually seen at least half a dozen older cars (freshly plated) with the obvious filth from years of sitting still on them.
  6. Yup, he just killed another one. It was a huge one this time, and he has a hole in his nose to show for it. It must have pissed him off when it bit him, because he just wouldn't stop chomping on it long after it was dead. I think he broke every bone in its body. Sure is interesting living with a couple of wolves.
  7. Going to check that out now. Thanks for the link, SS.
  8. Hey, a nickel's a nickel.
  9. I guess that means I win. Imagine that. Leave it to me to win when nothing is at stake.
  10. 147.90
  11. Excellent news on the PVGP! One of the best car shows I've ever seen, and a very cool racecourse!
  12. Ah, misunderstood the post and thought that the jar contained quarters as well. I retract my guess.
  13. Just shy of $300.
  14. That's simply a reference point to illustrate what I was talking about. I said that the car had potential not perfection.
  15. What do you think, Swordfish?
  16. Stop the video at 0.40, and you'll see the view I mean.
  17. In the rear not-quite-3/4 view at one point in the video, I see the topmost strake as a strong character line that defines the car for me. Just imagine everything below that point as smooth bodywork, and you might see what I'm talking about.
  18. I'd really like to see some still images of it, the video is jarring and makes it hard to study the design.
  19. Well, as DF mentioned, the proportions are good. Beyond that, I see a shape (defined by the outer edges of the strakes) that could be very sexy. The car has a low-slung and powerful look to it that I love, and it screams alternative bodystyle to me. In fact, the first glimpse I got of it had me thinking shooting brake. I don't care for the strakes themselves, nor the "Continental kit", but I do like the detailing on the headlights and the roof: very interesting. The design has a great stance that works for me as well. I could see a great design growing from this exercise.
  20. Sounds good to me!
  21. Wow! that thing is nice! And I love the ideas and attitude you express in this thread. I would also like to see the competitions become more active!
  22. Can't blame you for not wanting to kill him, but he's done anyway - some fox will get an easy meal tonight. So goes nature. I have tons of the little buggers around this place this year, and Arkus wants one - BAD! As for the chickens, that's one reason you hang them by their feet first.
  23. This is certainly true.
  24. Might be kinder to end the suffering for it. If the hindquarters are immobile, he's done anyway.
  25. A few tidbits on it from GM: http://generalmotors.posterous.com/green-car-of-the-future-design-provides-guilt
