  1. Maybe my first Phantom...
  2. The ones I like are too expensive.
  3. If Studebaker, then Hawk.
  4. Here's a question: What was the last year for a Pontiac sedan delivery?
  5. "Offbeat" would be putting it mildly. No FWD - ever! I am thinking late 50s - early 60s...
  6. I hear ya, but that means "no sale" :AH-HA_wink:
  7. Nothing wrong with Chevy at all! But I'd like to do something else for a change. I also want the process to be different.
  8. Had to throw that Wawa perk in, didn't you? I'd love to give you a hand some weekend along the line. It's been quite a while since I did any work non-solo, even the race car work is all me.
  9. I really doubt that it will be a Buick, but I'm not sure what vintage I want to do next. I wish you were around the corner though, I'd love to give you a hand with yours!
  10. Seriously though, I want to do the next project differently from what I choose and the way I choose it, to how I go about it.
  11. My reaction to this car is dead nuetral, I get no strong feeling from the design at all.
  12. I guess that depends...
  13. Right now I own six Chevrolets: one daily driver, one parts car, and four project cars. I think I'll be needing a change once I get through this batch of projects. And no, I'm not thinking of jumping into the Jag project.
  14. Thanks guys.
  15. I respect the Cobalt SS - alot. But I can't quite like it.
  16. Remember the guy who hand built his own with no kit? Much more impressive, and it actually ran.
  17. The HSV Grange is a beautiful car - too good for Buick.
  18. A very heartfelt thank you guys, reading the last few posts really brightened the end of a bad day! That said, I never intended for this thread to become an argument. So, shall we try again? I'll rephrase the question a bit: What do you plan to do if things continue to go badly, with no rebound in sight? If our losses become permanent?
  19. Well, this thread certainly went in a direction I hadn't intended.
  20. Actually Croc, it was just a question. An aimless curiosity. I wondered what sort of thoughts it might provoke. Z: I agree. But I am seeing it as even larger than that, global in scope.
  21. Actually, "worried" and "anxious" don't really describe what I'm feeling. More like "resigned". And definitely "weary".
  22. I just don't see anything headed in the right direction, nothing to be hopeful about.
