  1. As someone who spent a bunch of time "in the trenches" around here, I wholeheartedly endorse this deal! I was here when C&G was but an infant, and its been quite the ride so far. Congrats to Drew, and a huge thank-you to Walt. This place is still special.
  2. Happy Birthday, my friend! I knew there was a reason I logged-on today.
  3. Already spotted that one.
  4. Sorry RBB, I'm just not a fan.
  5. Camino LS6

    Alcohol!!!

Careful, some folks find that they have a more "interesting" morning the next day than they had planned when they drink Dos Equis.
  6. Yeah, they were 50k new. Handbuilt and rare (to a point) Very fast But they should be worth only a small premium over the original sticker, and only if they are perfect.
  7. Total: 3,963 Sprints in '71 (all engines and trims combined) Only 25 got the 454
  8. True, but they made very, very, few. Wouldn't have been cost-effective.
  9. Almost any wagon is increasing in value now... And YJ is correct about the G body cars, they bottomed in price a while back. Same goes for F bodies.
  10. No, not really. But there are fewer than in previous decades. In fact, you could have made a fortune on the lesser ones by now if you had ridden the market properly.
  11. Actually, they are plentiful - most of the GNXs were wrapped in plastic and stored away. There are two others on the same site right now (also overpriced). There are better buys in collectibles of that era.
  12. Well, by '74 the 454 was reduced to weakling status compared to a '70 LS5 - let alone an LS6. Still, that wagon would be a cool cruiser to have today, BP.
  13. The one I looked at was that light bronze color that so many were back then, without the damn woodgrain!
  14. If only I had photoshop and the skills to use it...
  15. For a 40k+ profit. But this price is way out of line generally speaking, after all they built 500 of the damn things!
  16. ...but the price makes me say WTF! http://www.cars-on-line.com/39472.html

  18. No problem, I'm just mad that I can't remember!

  20. I'll check my factory brochures. EDIT: Can't tell from the brochures, but I think that they may not have been body color. I just can't remember.
  21. Got me on that one, Ocn. But this is a very BASE car with just the hot drivetrain: a "long roof racing" special. I looked at one with a factory 396 when I was in high school - could have had it cheap. And it was loaded.
  22. You know, I'd have to check on that! I know that the "graining"/coloration was slightly different, but I thought the bars were the same.
  23. True. But this one is a bit of an oddball. Which in my book, makes it a better buy.
  24. But a 409 could look correct. :AH-HA_wink:
