Hmm, wasn't Prowler given to Chrysler before Plymouth was killed? Can't remember the sequence of events, but I do remember that the last Prowlers wore Chrysler badges.

Unlike poor, abused, Plymouth, Pontiac at least had something very worthwhile up to the end. Never was Pontiac without at least one worthy car, and it ends with two.

I keep forgetting to post the stuff I see, so here is a triuvirat of recent spots. 2005/6 SSR 6.0/6spd. in that awesome Blue/green metallic color- beautiful. 2009 G8 GT in Pacific Slate Metallic 1955 Chevy Bel-Air in white and for sale just around the corner from me - I don't dare stop for a look Three very worthy GM vehicles.

Another interesting stat is the view counts. Take a look at the first page of topics under GM news, and see where the interest is.

The Chevy front clip already exists. The crash testing would just be for the nose and would take far less time than that. The real problem is that, as it is, the G8 can't be built here (North America). However, that may be possible after the refresh at Holden. But that would bump the car by a year or more.

Its not just here, I've been scanning other sites. The reactions are near-universal. I believe that GM has grossly underestimated the impact here, the reactions are strong and hold greater implications for GM than the simple backlash from the fans of one car. People are sick of being played with, and the number who want to be supportive dwindles with each insulting episode like this.

Is the surge in activity and traffic around the web, and how fast it died with the Fastlane announcement. Just how blind is GM? ADMINS: Can you check the traffic here over that period? Should be interesting.
