  1. I wasn't just talking about cars...
  2. What do you mean?

    What if

    ...things don't get better?
  4. '88 was a "use up the parts" year for GM midsize RWD.
  5. A 4spd. wasn't so rare in '71.
  6. Well, if all of that comes to pass I just won't be buying any new cars. I fully intend to drive what I like, and nothing else. I'm quite sure that I'll be able to keep something interesting in daily driver condition for the rest of my life. I don't want to give up on new cars, but I will if forced.
  7. If I end up with a Challenger, you'll be way behind.
  8. Too bad I don't like small cars, if I did I might have something to look forward to.
  9. I'm with Balthazar on the orange and yellow- I very rarely like those colors on any car.
  10. Someone needs to figure out how to do this right.
  11. It would be nice to see less junk and a few decent RWD cars. They haven't even been able to manage that. Not every car needs to be a FWD econobox. It works both ways.
  12. With you on that call. Travesty, mockery, and disrespect.
  13. Exceptional!
  14. Yup! That's the one I was thinking of. Imabine knowing that you and three co-workers are up for running the re-make of the "core" brands, and you draw the short straw - Buick! Pure hell.
  15. Yes you do. And that was your best post yet. But expect disagreement.
  16. If it is decent and only has 71k, it might have some value independent of collectibility. My guess is that it is largely unknown and kinda tough to sell, thus the low price at the dealer. Those lots aren't big on making an effort to know the cars they sell.
  17. C4 is nasty. Otherwise, I try to pick the one I thought would be the most fun to drive.
  18. Best yet!
  19. I have to say, the LH is one of the best proportioned FWD cars ever.
  20. Yeah, I believe L-79 is right. Those "box Novas" were the kings of the dragstrip - I really wanted to build one when I was in high school.
  21. Hey that reminds me, I saw the straightest '67 Nova SS the other day. Black w/Cragars: perfect and parked across two spots in an empty part of the local Pep Boys lot. Such a classic look...
