  1. I would agree that I am trustworthy and well-balanced. Traditional? Some of the time.
  2. Now THAT'S a babe. lol. You'd probably be my best friend for life if you knew who she was, and what TV show (my favorite) she was part of.
  3. The Suzuki truck is a new...I hadn't heard anything about until I read this. Weird. I wonder how well it will sell *coughradiercough*.
  4. $45,000 US or $45,000 AU? Even so, I'd love to live in Australia. It's a beautiful country.

  6. A $40,000 Honda? That'll fly just like a $75,000 Volkswagen.
  7. 23 MPG from a 4-Cylinder is not that spectacular, I filled up our Sable wagon this evening and estimated that I got just over 23 MPG. With a V6. Curb Weights 3532 - 2007 Honda CR-V 3536 - 1997 Mercury Sable Wagon They weigh almost the same amount, yet our old and American wagon gets the same mileage with a bigger engine. To borrow Toyota's slogan, that's moving forward alright.
  8. Deep-fried Swedish crisp bread. Yum.
  9. I always wanted to fly on the Concorde. From a stylistic standpoint, my favorite jetliner is the Lockheed Constellation. I also like the de Havilland Comet, when it remains in the air.
  10. As my first post back from Chinese Summer School, lets talk about music. Ants Marching - Dave Matthews Band Real World - Matchbox 20 Grace Kelly - MIKA Summer Love - Justin Timberlake Le Disko - Shiny Toy Guns Thriller - Michael Jackson Come On Eileen [remix] - Save Ferris The General - Dispatch China Grove - Doobie Brothers P.S. If anyone want to hear about my intensive summer of Chinese, I may post something later :]
  11. I encourage you to go to Germany with your friends :] It'll be an awesome experience, and you most certainly need the change of scenery. Most of all, have fun :] I advise you to stay away from the Wartburg's, Yugo's, and Lada's (this is, if they haven't rusted away) at all costs. Soviets never could create a decent car...
  12. It is reported that she said "Thats hot" six times during the interview.
  13. I had a guy tell me I should consider getting a newer, more fuel efficient vehicle when he saw me putting $55 into the Rodeo (the one time I fill it ). I told him that a car payment and insurance for a 17-year old would be through the roof, and that concerning yourself with other peoples monetary issues is incredibly rude. That put him in his place. Then I had the lady at the stoplight. She motioned me to put down my window, which doesn't go down (bad window motor). I motioned that I couldn't, so maybe she though I was being an asshole. She had the balls to write "UR SUV IS RUINING THE OZONE JERK!!!!" on a piece of lined paper and wave it at my window. It took all my effort not get out of the car and slap that ho back to reality. Some people should be punched in the face. Repeatedly.
  14. It's a five letter brand, I think atleast, and I'm pretty sure Fly wouldn't buy a Dodge Although he could surprise us all
  15. I was just at UT like 2 weeks ago for the Destination Imagination Global Finals. Amazing campus. I would love to go to college there. That being said, the longest trip my car has gone on is Saco, ME which is a whopping 160 miles roundtrip
  16. I am over-compulsive about these types of things. Honestly, I just happened to look at it really quick and was like, "WTF is up with all the x's? Did one of his odometers give out?" And then I realized you had bought a car. Congrats, by the way!
  17. Maybe I am just inept and missed a thread or something, but what exactly does this mean: Did you find yourself a new car, and just holding out on telling us? Or I am I over-analyzing things? * If you do have a thread about this already, just merge or delete this one :]
  18. 2001 Dakota - 8 1998 Camry - 4 1997 Sable - 6 1994 Rodeo - 6 Total - 24
  19. I hate to say it, but that just sounds dumb. How can the new Tundra fail when it's been out for less than 6 months? To be perfectly honest, how many people are going to hear about this issue (other than the ones who read about cars ALL the time, like myself)? I haven't seen any headlines showing off this new information on any major news site. Don't get me wrong. The Tundra is NOT (IMO) the superior truck. However you have no idea at this point whether it will fail or not. Lets see what the year end sales tell us. Then we can accurately judge if it was a flop or not.
  20. My Dad got a letter from Toyota of Exeter, where he bought his Toyota Truck 15 years ago. We haven't even owned this car for 6 years because it was totaled. The letter stated that they were informing owners of ball-bearing that will crack under normal use (Its been 15 years!). With the letter they gave him a coupon for $1,500 off the purchase of a new 2007 Toyota Camry. Too bad we already have 4 cars (one of which, I'll admit, is a Camry) that run fine. I still can't believe they have him on record... or why they're sending out warranty information on the truck. Similar Truck For Reference:
  21. Still want to see pics of the Roadmaster Estate :]
  22. I had a 2005 Impala for 9 of the 10 classes, and a 2006 Cobalt Sedan for the class on driving a stick. Let me just point out that having an observer in the manual class was embarrassing to the extreme at the beginning. I was all like, JERK, STOP, JERK, STOP, REV THE ENGINE TO 6000 RPM, JERK, STOP. LOL, after about 20 minutes you get the hang of it They must go through clutches like crazy, but they can afford it, it's not like Driver's Ed is cheap or anything.
