  1. Some cars I wouldn't mind owning: Nissan Silvia S13 Holden Ute SS VW Type 2
  2. Thanks Everybody! It was a great birthday till the evening. Then I got sick . Not just upset-stomach sick. This was full-blown sick. Can I say how lame it is to be sick on your birthday. Incredibly. Feeling a bit better today though! Thanks again for the birthday wishes! :]
  3. I am less enthused. I wanted the Pats to win. but they played a sub-par second half. Should be an interesting Super Bowl XLI
  4. Seriously! Every time we went to leave she was like "5 more minutes, please!" I think she tried out the Smart Slide seats at least 6 times.
  5. Well, My mom thinks she found the car she wants: Thats right, a 2007 Saturn Outlook XE FWD (she decided that AWD wasn't that big of a deal-breaker) She saw it on the way home yesterday and was like, woah, I really want to look at that! So we stopped, had a look around, took it for a test drive. She was in love with it, we could barely pry her out of it! Hopefully it'll be gracing our garage in a short time On a side note, neither of my parents knew Saturn was a GM brand until I told them after. They were both really surprised. I think there might be 2 new GM fans in the world
  6. I'm a big fan of the entire state of Maine in general, but one city that is really somewhere to get away is Caribou. Small, quiet, and secluded.

    Spied: ???

    Yeah, it's the Honda Crossroad:
  13. So, uh, getting somewhat back on track, how exactly is CAFE measured? Do they just take the mpg ratings of all a vehicles engines and then average them? So car company A has cars with averages of 31mpg, 29 mpg, and 19mpg, so their CAFE score would be 26.33mpg?
  14. To be perfectly honest, I am not a big fan of many--if any trucks. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I don't want to rain on your parade, so if it something YOU like, thats all that matters, and my opinion is rendered moot :]
  15. I was going to suggest possibly a Forester, but that sits 0.6 inches lower. Seems like she is not limiting her options and trying a few things out :]. Hopefully she can find a vehicle that fits her needs.
  16. I hate to deviate for a moment, but I was looking at the Honda website and the Accord VP comes with 2 speakers standard. To get the 2 extra rear speakers it costs an extra $49. "Value" pffft. [/deviation]
  17. I got my personalized plate in the mail about 2 weeks ago :] BANDWGN Because my car is sort of a wagon, and it's the band transportation unit, so... :] I am always trying to figure out what they say, some can be quite tricky.
  18. Lets see: Guitar Hero II for my brother Home Meat Cutter for my mom (me and my brother went 1/2 and 1/2) Lifetime Dear Hunting license for my dad (me, my brother and my mom 1/3's)
  19. Holy Crap. I'm almost 17 and I only got my license 7 months ago. How do they expect anybody to afford that? Jeez.
  20. Maybe this is just me being a n00b, but is insurance that steep in Canada? CAN$5000 = USD$4320 I only pay USD$1800 a year.
