  1. Love it :] Now, GM just needs to bring it to the US with a diesel option and blow the Prius "mileage champ" out of the water.
  2. Anything is good compared to Boston's Big Dig. It could have ended up MUCH better if there wasn't so much shoddy construction. Leaky and collapsing tunnels? No thanks.
  3. Sinus infections was only one of the reasons why I went. I had been suffering from double ear infections on and off for about 8 months. I was also having severe pain in my upper neck. A few times I couldn't even lift my head or get out of bed because it felt like a Mack truck kept running over my head.
  4. I've been going to a chiropractor for 4+ years and it has since removed my sinus infections completely.
  5. Loudon, New Hampshire The only reason people know of us:
  6. I always feel left out of these foreign language conversations, so I will say the only thing I know in German: Aufschnitt Have a great time in Germany, I've always wanted to go there!
  7. Black Jettas are driving me insane! I love that song
  8. Yeah, I think it's the Pontiac Sunburst
  9. LOL, I can't figure this out. Was the previous owner like, "Seriously, time to upgrade my vehicle. But I just CANNOT part with these wiper motors. They are fantabulous. I shall take them with me." Honestly.
  10. I want to know how much it costs/the effort needed to become a US citizen. What prevents people from not doing it legally? Is it a laziness thing, an education thing, or something entirely different? Sorry to sound so naive... My grandparents came to this country legally from Poland in the late 30's to escape the Third Reich. I wonder how much has changed in 80+/- years in immigration laws. Again, sorry to sound so naive. I just have absolutely no knowledge in this area and would like to be informed.
  11. The song from the Gemini one is "She Moves" by Karaja
  12. This has to do with the gas issue. I was talking with my mom, and she said that gas never use to fluctuate like is does now a days. She said it might go up a few cents over the course of six or so months, and then come back down. It's crazy that it can change a nickel, dime, even a quarter overnight. Although, at $2.50 a gallon, we have it better than pretty much all of Europe.
  13. June - July: Saint Paul's Advanced Studies Program (Chinese Language and Culture) August: Camping with the family
  14. Like you didn't just set yourself up for someone to say something about the quality of DCX vehicles. But I won't be the one to make any of "those" comments... Like someone said above, it all comes down to what it's going to look like. I don't care if it's got RWD, AWD, 4WD, or even *gasp* FWD. If it looks like crap I'm not going to want to drive it everyday.
  15. I like the fact that It's a hybrid, but if its using the old EPA regulations as opposed to the new ones, then I would not be surprised if the mileage goes down a couple more points. It will still be better that both of the other Aura's, but how will it stack up against the Camry and Altima hybrids? People will compare the numbers and automatically gravitate towards the Camry and Altima because of the "better-looking" numbers.
  16. Hmm... 1 2 6 4 7 5 3 I am anxious to see which car each of these belongs too...

    Pictures!

Can I tell you how long it took for me to get that I was like, "Why would MJ's favorite town be Dubois, Indiana? It's not THAT special..." Then it dawned on me DO BOYS. LOL. Well, I was Speed Racer for Halloween, and I happened to find this on my computer. Chyea, 17 and I still trick or treat.
  18. As an entire vehicle, the Ridgeline doesn't work for me. However, I think it uses some nifty features that other makers could incorporate into their vehicles. Another thing I've always wondered though, why do people feel the need to belittle the name of the vehicle? Like you're going to hurt it's feelings or something. Please give me a break.
  19. To relax and/or clear the mind (for me at least): - do math problems. . Weird as it sounds, I usually find comfort in the fact that I can actually figure something in my life out logically. - read. Anything works. My favorite authors are Bill Bryson and Jodi Picoult. - music. Put on anything really catchy. Turn it way up. Sing along. Repeat as necessary. LOL, after typing this I feel like such a NERD.
  20. Deep Breath. No one ever said that they were American products. They said that 70% of NMC vehicles are made in the United States. While technically "jap" is short for Japaneses, It is quite rude (IMO) to say it, as is the word gyp to gypsy. I think we need to get back to discussing cars.
  21. This kind of goes off tangent, but I figured I'd add it because every time I tell it I laugh. Last year I was in the School Library with my class and I'm sitting there working on my essay. I get up to get a print-off and as i get back to my seat, 4 of these mega-ego guys (read: the school "in" crowd) come up to me and begin to harass me about what they think is my sexual preference. One of the guys yells out (in a library no less), "Sam, are you a fag?" And without missing a beat I replied just as loud, "Why, you wanna bang me?" and add a pelvic thrust for good measure. Then I turned around and continue writing my paper. Needless to say the entire room cracked up and all 4 of them got redder than I've ever seen someone get. As for preference...lets go with 2.
  22. I'd rather GM be in the #2 spot with more excellent products than the #1 spot with more lukewarm products.
  23. The Citroën looks vastly better than the Peugeot exterior-wise. Interior-wise, I don't think it captures anything the French are capable of: http://img507.imageshack.us/img507/520/cit...interiornb0.jpg
  24. Because it's the only truck I'd ever consider. That and maybe it isn't such a guilty pleasure . I merely stated that those were cars I wanted to own. :]
