OMG... that has to be the one song in the world that I hate with a passion! I can't stand it... and as if to make matters worse, it has that damn break in the middle of the song, where you think it's just abruptly ended, but then it goes ROOOOOOOOOOOXANNE! Ugh.

Ah, okay--I was going to say--you didn't seem short in any of the pics we saw in this thread on the old site!

Your nephew is adorable! How tall are you Josh?
  4. Sixty8, You're correct... the G6 would have made a great Grand Am. The Cobalt name grows on me as well, and I have a feeling it's because I think the Cobalt is just such a great little car--really. It has available power, many different looks on the inside (between the trims)... it was well-planned and well-executed in my opinion. I believe this is the case: if a car is good, the name change doesn't really tick us off any more and we adapt well to it. IE, Cobalt. If the car is mediocre, or sucks, we don't adapt well to it, and therefore it doesn't instill the same wonderful feelings previous cars did (IE, LaCrosse/Regal). I would never have given the LaCrosse a Regal name. I would have however, given the LaCrosse a Century name. For me, it seems to be a notch above the Century, but a notch below the Regal. It should have been twice the car it is.
  5. Well, this is confusing. Buick wants to attract younger buyers. Buick has the Terraza, Rendezvous, and even the Rainier for that. But Buick plans to change the name of the Rendezvous when they redo it, drop the Rainier, and are considering dropping the Terraza. What the hell is going on?!
  6. I'll never forget one night, POURING rain... I was fooling around with someone... well, after three hours, the insides of the windows were actually dripping! I guess the humidity was just that high or something! I was horrible, because the windows had to be wiped down with our clothes because the defroster couldn't dry all of the water!
  7. That's funny--I saw a Vette that color parked outside a diner yesterday. I didn't even know they made them in that color til I saw it--it's gorgeous :)
  8. HOT man.. this is just so great for Pontiac, and for GM... I really hope that Saturn kicks ass in 2007, Pontiac enjoys its Solstice and Torrent (which would be better with a beefier engine and some more options), etc. I can't wait for more :)

Wow... Intrigued... wow! NOS... I remember you on your Camaro--vaguely--don't remember the other pics! See you have some fish in the background? I used to have fish--loved them, but each May I had to wait until October to replace them as mom and dad refused to turn on the airconditioner and they boiled to death!
  10. I did the same thing Sixty8!
  11. I would love to see the Impala get a hybrid variant. Although, it's unlikely because I believe the Malibu is to get one first.

Yay NOS! Great to see your face up there Nice to know what the post whore looks like
  13. Ugh, the host is just SO obnoxious I have trouble watching him at times.
  14. I love the interior color choices for the DTS--the wood looks GORGEOUS... so much better in the photos!
  15. Any idea what type of pricing we'd be looking at?
  16. I wouldn't agree with that statement. The 300 ranges from about 24-35 (not including the SRT which just blows away the Lucerne), while the LaCrosse/Allure goes from about 23.5 to about 29... both midsize, both essentially family vehicles. The 300 covers more ground than the LaCrosse/Allure does though, it has a wider range of engine choices, drive types, transmissions, and some premium features.

LOL... I was waiting for someone else to say it first!! LOL Yeah, Intrigued, feel free to post as many pics as you like LOL
  18. I'm just freaked out about the whole thing--the riots, the scenes, trying to even imagine my life altered in the way theirs were, well, it's just impossible. And how am I affected? It costs 50 bucks to fill up my Century now (when I still have a couple of gallons left), and it took 3 gas stations in Syosset to fill up. Syosset is a town in Long Island, where I grew up--I should rephrase... the three stations I went to after going to a friend's house, were OUT of gas completely. When I returned to Holbrook, where I live (about 40 minutes southeast of Syosset), I was able to get gas at the bargain of 3.499.
  19. Wow... great pics Mike! :) I'm just so blown away that people would actually have to put a license plate, THERE, on the Solstice?!

Maybe I'm starting to get old (I know I'm not, I'm only 28!), but I can barely see you clearly in that picture--it's so small! lol
  21. Well, the only reason I would think there would be some overlapping in prices, is because first, Cadillac is SO different--the look is much edgier, whereas Buick is more conservative. Secondly, Cadillac I believe wants to take their brand up a few notches in luxury, no? So, I would imagine their prices would go up.
  22. I agree; I like the monochromatic emblem, and as you say, the bigger it gets, the gaudier it looks. Now, if Buick was an ultra-luxury division, above Cadillac, they could have updated the logo with rubies, diamonds and sapphires to give it the tri-shield colors LOL
  23. Another mistake on the reviewer's part. Few people seem to realize that Toyota had lowered their performance numbers. The claimed 290hp/320torque of the LS430 is incorrect. It is rated at 278 hp @ 5,600 rpm, 312 lb-ft torque @ 3,400 rpm.
  24. That is just ODD. At any given time, I can point out a 300 on any road I'm on. The LaCrosse, well, I'm still counting with 1 hand how many I've seen in the past year! 4, people. I've seen 4. The last one being beige, which I hate. The one before that being the Cardinal Red Metallic, which looked nice, the light blue which was for the one person who owned a LaCrosse where I worked, and a Black CX which was the first one I've ever seen, and it looked so bland without the chrome package and nice rims.
