  1. The name does matter. It always bugged me the Nissan Stanza meant "room".
  2. Call it Parfait.
  3. Oh my God, are they alright?! I hope everything turns out well and they stay out of the hospital!

I'm so sorry K.C.! Best regards to all during this difficult time.
  5. Yes. One on each side of my nipples. Nice, huh? Fortunately, they didn't have to shave the sides or anything (no hair is there), where they put the slew of other ones.
  6. Honestly, I hate the name Invicta. Not a fan of the name LaCrosse either, but like it more than Invicta. Would LOVE for Regal to resurface but I know I'm dreaming.
  7. God I'm dyin' for a press release on this car!
  8. Well, that being said... when are the new V8's here for Cadillac? And the Flagship for Buick should have an optional V8. What about that 3.2DI V6? I thought GM wasn't going to make a 3.2 anymore.
  9. Thanks
  10. Uh, I think if you're a hairy Italian, you should just not have to go for an EKG and Stress Test before surgery. I plan on being buried with these pads stuck to my chest.
  11. Tell him he can take my 94 Century. And then wreck it. :AH-HA_wink: Seriously though, you did the right thing. He's young, it's a night when kids drink and act recklessly--and even if he doesn't drink, someone else could and do something stupid. But for Prom, we all chipped in and got a 10-seater Town Car... then again, this was back in 1995... and the limo was only a fraction of the Prom tickets (one for me and my girl), to the Waldorf, a horse and carriage ride through Central Park, a Comedy Club afterwards, and Little Italy the next day.
  12. This makes most sense to me.
  13. New wood and gauges... that's about it.
  14. Nice, yes, but I was looking at most-possible lineup to come out of GM next year.
  15. Thank you. A four cylinder engine has no place in this car. All the cars this car will compete with have V6 bases. I'm going to predict a 3.6L V6 on the CX/CXL, and a DI 3.6L for the Super. All with 6A. EDIT: If there is going to be a smaller Buick (which signs point to yes), then let that have the 4-cylinder engine, paired to a 6A.
  16. Remember that when I start making whacked-out posts next week...
  17. Haha--there are a lot of people here who will see that as a BAD THING! :AH-HA_wink:
  18. I still have a few Percosets left over. I should request Vicotinis? Hmmm... I'll ask tomorrow when I go in for the pre-surgical testing.
  19. Okay... so I'm having my surgery on Friday... they're doing the tonsillectomy, palette reshape, and tube put in my right ear. Should be a fun recuperation. They're giving me liquid codeine, so all I need is a little umbrella and I will be able to enjoy codeine smoothies!
  20. I was thinking something with a 3D look to it... the shields turned slightly in place, or something like that.
  21. But that's just it, the 3900 is very poor on fuel economy... the 3800 was much better! I am not looking forward to when the numbers roll out for the 3900 in the Lucerne...
  22. Well, then it sounds by your reaction the 3900 will be a great addition. I would have liked to have seen maybe the slightest update to the interior--like a new woodgrain. I've heard some bad reactions from their base woodgrain and good reactions from the one available on the CXS (the warm chestnut or something). I think the woodgrain in the LaCrosse even looks better! Eh, beggars can't be choosers--the car is only around 2 more years.
  23. Well, while I'm not against pushrod V6s, I'm not for them either. The 3800 was a gem, for its size, produces adequate power now (was much more competitive years ago), but that 3900 is a disaster in my opinion. It doesn't produce amazing power, has poor fuel economy, and I have read mixed reviews from people on whether they like it. Some say it's rough, loud, etc., and others say it's smooth, has a great tone to it, and performs well. I can't give my true opinion until I drive one. Do I think putting the 3900 in the Lucerne is a smart move? Not sure. I guess the good outweighs the bad. The only bad side I see being that the 3800 will probably outperform it in terms of fuel economy. I'm all for what makes the Lucerne the best car it can be.
