Look at the write up for South Dakota!
I wonder what kind of stuff...bad stuff or the good stuff.. :AH-HA_wink:

First Look: 2008 Pontiac G6 GXP
I'm sure the aggro, overblown looks will appeal to people that miss the look of the Grand Ams of the '90s...

First Look: 2008 Pontiac Torrent GXP
Torrential. It needs a Monsoon sound system to go with the theme...

2008 Ford Five-Hundred
Robert Hall replied to Flybrian's topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)Not really. Too rounded, and the Fusion/Edge/'08 Five Hundred look is 3 flat bars...

Another car of mine
Me too...I didn't like the blobby lights and fish mouth look of the '98-02 cars...

Another car of mine
Nope..the 3rd gen had regular-size rectangulars...the 4th had smaller ones, like used on some Grand Prix, Cutlass, etc models..

Look at the write up for South Dakota!
Hmm...I know a few North Dakotans...I work with a few..but they've moved to Denver and Phoenix....don't know any South Dakotans. I've never been to either Dakota, but driven across Nebraska...too rural and empty for my tastes, though I would like to see Mt. Rushmore and the Black Hills sometime.

Robert Hall replied to Flybrian's topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)I guess their target demographic is old enough to still use tapes frequently..

2007 Cadillac BLS Sport
Cadillac's new image hasn't yet achieved any traction in Europe... I think the general European perception of Cadillac is giant, chromey finned older American cars (think '59 Eldo) and Elvis...at least that's how a couple of European friends of mine put it...

Another pushrod engine dead?
Chill out...'OHV' has been the standard term used by the media and in regular use for decades for pushrod engines. IBC is a brand of root beer.
-
2007 Cadillac BLS Sport
Right...Cadillac needs a compact RWD sedan that is competitive in the big leagues at home and abroad.

Diesel Replacing Hybrid in Next Accord
Mee too...I'm hoping for a 2009 Camaro TDi...

FIRST LOOK: DCX Minivans
I like how they moved the shifter onto the dash..very international.
-
2007 Cadillac BLS Sport
I like it, it's as much a 'real' Cadillac as the Escalade....
-
2007 Cadillac BLS Sport
Not quite..the Cimmaron looked like a Cavalier, had the same basic dash, etc. This car has it's own dash, unique sheetmetal, etc... though the DTS shares a platform with the Lucerne, I wouldn't call it a Buick rebadge..

2007 Cadillac BLS Sport
They are sold in Mexico also, which explains the one I saw in LA last year..

CONCEPT: Chevrolet Camaro Convertible
Love it.love it.love it. I think maybe this is what I will save my pennies for..I just hope it's out before I'm 40 (June 28, 2010).

2008 Dodge Viper SRT10
The Viper is an interesting car..not my cup of tea, though...too raw..for that price, I'd rather have a 911.

Mp3 player?
I found that I really have to crank the volume to hear it with the standard earbuds w/ 30gb video iPod. I mostly use my noise-cancelling headphones with it. I bought a nice hard-shell case by Marware for mine to protect the screen..a very well-designed product, IMHO.

Mp3 player?
I have the 30gb iPod..I've put about 3500 songs on it so far (13gb approx)...it took a while to rip all those CDs. Been very happy with it and with iTunes. I mostly use it at work, in airports, on planes.

FIRST LOOK: DCX Minivans
If I had kids, my inclination would be towards a wagon (something like a Volvo XC70), but I can understand the appeal of minivans...they make more sense than SUVs for most families--they have a lot more usable space inside for hauling people and stuff, the sliding doors are practical, etc...

DEATH OF THE AMERICAN LUXURY CAR
Yes...the steering, balance, handling, RWD goodness and the straight sixes are some of the aspects of BMWs I love...I've always liked the fact that they take sportiness and driver enjoyment as seriously as luxury (or more so). I would never compare a 3-series to a pedestrian appliance like a Camry.... The only negative of BMWs in recent years I think is the iDrive.

BURGERS
I've been to a few In-n-Outs but didn't think they were all that great...Fatburger is better, IMHO..
