  1. I'm wondering how the rear is going to look. One thing I do like is that they have given each of the Epsys a different greenhouse...no sharing of rear doors and C-pillars.
  2. I work with a Michael MacDonald (like the singer) and used to work with a Mike Jackson (not Michael, he would stress). For an unfortunate last name, there's a Jamie Grunt in my company.. How about Max Power? Now there is a great name.
  3. The Impala nose makes me think of a modern interpretation of the '72 Impala grille (one of my favorites of the classic Impalas). From the angle of the photos, the upper rear door and C-pillar kind of reminds me of the Jetta or Phaeton. Someone mentioned the absence of projector bulb lights on the 'bu..I'm sure it's a cost issue (what's the per-unit cost of projector bulbs vs. regular?), the same reason it will probably have a 4spd automatic. After all, Avis doesn't care if it has projector bulbs or not..
  4. Interesting..I can't wait to see the whole concept..so it's kind of Chrysler's CLS, so to speak..
  5. I see a bit of Mazda and Acura in the grille shape, though it has the characteristic Chevy crossplank. I wonder if there will be a 'Sport' version with a full mesh grille or something different.. I see some of the SS concept in the hood opening and stepped fenders... I wonder if the hood would have looked better if it had been wider and extended to the edges (i.e. to the drop off).
  6. The Million Dollar Highway (US 550) is fun in the summer...but I wouldn't want to drive it in the winter... lots of roads out here with drop-offs that have no guardrails...one scary one I drove on SW of Colorado Springs is Phantom Canyon Road--basically a 'spine' road--one lane wide with sheer drop-offs on each side.. I've been down some side roads off the Pike's Peak highway where you can't see the ground in front of the hood because the road drops down sharply..definitely white-knuckle driving. I've been over a bunch of the dirt 4x4 roads in my Jeep, and the paved ones in it and my fun cars..
  7. I think he's spent waaaay to much time working on his hair the last 15 years..
  8. Well, the proportions in this illustration and the original Opel one look more FWD than Zeta to me (i.e. the short front wheel-to-door distance).
  9. Too bad the last Silva (S15) wasn't sold in the US..pretty good looking coupe, IMHO..
  10. I'd take the 6-speed, IRS, 400hp V8, RS hidden headlights, in a dark gray convertible w/ red & black leather interior.
  11. I don't think I'd drive anything smaller than a 3-series. That's small enough, IMHO.
  12. Good to hear.. SS shouldn't be watered down.. no Aveo SS, please. Though I still want to see a Suburban and Tahoe Z06, SS badge or not..
  13. Good news, definitely..though I prefer the Sky. Speaking of Solstices, whatever happened to that guy that was on here that had one and wrecked it?
  14. It will be interesting to see what happens in Jan 09...my guess is Bush will declare martial law and try and make himself emperor for life...
  15. The delay probably has to do with the engine development..
  16. The Grand Prix has had a GTP model also, hasn't it?
  17. Interesting..I thought there was already an Equinox SS.
  18. I've never driven one, but I've ridden in one..seem like a neat little sports car...though I think the new MX-5 has a nicer interior.
  19. Yes, that will probably be the outcome..the Camry win was pre-ordained when the '07 was first announced.
  20. Mindless hooliganism. I remember seeing the burning houses on the news every year when I lived in Michigan.
  21. ?? I don't get it..it's a Comcast.net homepage. I see that every day.
  22. Wasn't there going to be a Silverado Classic carried into '07?
  23. Not really...the Avenger is coming as an '07, isn't it? The '07 Malibu is still going to be the current model (the new Malibu isn't coming until MY '08). So it's a valid comparison.
  24. I guess it will compete more with the lower price end of the midsize market---Malibu, Sonata, Optima...
  25. Speaking of Chrysler concepts, one I loved in the '90s was the Atlantic...
