I have the Bill Luke Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram (Phoenix) emblem on the back of my Jeep, but it's small and tasteful. I did take off their license plate frame, it would have covered the 'OHIO' at the top of the plate. I found under the back seat the original Orange Coast CJDR license frame from Costa Mesa.

Speaking of using technology, I did see a demo of someone using augmented reality goggles w/ head mounted 360 degree cameras, so they could see around themselves walking along with threats like other pedestrians and traffic highlighted on a projected screen, and distance to them, audible and visible warnings when they got close to the other objects.. -

I vaguely remember as a kid in the 70s seeing the smog and pollution along the northern Ohio River---back when the coal plants and steel industry were busy from Pittsburgh to Steubenville, Oh to Wheeling, WV and further south...

I was driving through a neighborhood of multi-million dollar lakefront mansions yesterday--most not tacky-blingy but older, substantial homes on wooded lots--and spied one house had two '95-97 Lincoln Town Cars (both white) in the circular driveway and a new Continental (dark blue).

That place is about 10 miles from me, it got some 5 star reviews and some 1 star reviews on Yelp. Supposedly they have good wings. Though for wings, I usually go to Quaker Steak & Lube which about 10 min from my house.

Saw an eclectic mix of older cars this afternoon when I went to the beach. Saw a sharp 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T in Sublime Green w a black tail stripe and rear spoiler, a black '70 Chevelle Pro Street w/ huge rear tires, no hood and a big blower w/ scoop, a sharp black '50-51 Chevy sedan delivery, a Goodwood Green '67 Corvette, a clean silver blue w/ dark blue top early 80s Olds 98 4dr and a clean dark blue w/ dark blue top early 80s Olds 88 coupe.

There is a very clean dark green one one street over from me, I've seen it in and out of it's garage a few times, but never seen the grille so I'm not sure of the year. The most recent G8 I've seen was a dark red one in Dunkirk, NY in March.

Not aware of an 'Alamo', may have been a San Antonio area dealer special at one time by someone. Someone did do a 'Texan' edition of a car in the 50s, saw a pic of a black one on FB last week. (don't recall what car, though). Jeep has had Laredos for decades, sure there are other Texas-themed names out there that I'm forgetting.

Yes, yesterday was the 4th, hence my comment about 'Cuatro de Mayo' Today I'll probably go to the beach and get some seafood--Sunset Bar & Grille in Fairport Harbor opened for the season yesterday.

Hmm...I saw the Lincoln, didn't see the Pontiac in the background at first. Googling turned up this pic, neat never heard of that variation of the '62.

It had to have been considered quite bold for it's time w/ the integrated rear quarters and relatively flat sides. So different from the tall, humpy '48s. Seeing a '49 Ford is always special to me, since my parents' first new car was a dark blue '49 Tudor (21 years before my time, I've seen old B&W pics of it). Saw this nice Fordor in Williams, Az a couple years ago.

We've become pretty jaded if a 420hp V8 doesn't constitute high performance... They should..and in the Tahoe also. FCA has the GC SRT and Trackhawk, and Durango SRT. GM needs to have more high performance SUVs. And an Escalade V-series.

Nonsense. It's been used on the Silverado and TrailBlazer, and what do you think the older SS Impalas, Chevelles, and Monte Carlos were--BOF design.
