LSA Camaro Spied (Z28?)
I think I've only seen them in pictures...I recall a factory pic in a book of a gold one with hubcaps. If I read the Wikipedia entry correct, there was an RS decal package from '75-80. I vaguely remember seeing yellow '78-80 Camaros years ago with black graphics and 'Rally Sport' spelled out...

Camaro Engines? 4 Cylinder Turbo considered by Lutz
It's going to have to be torquey, definitely....I figure the Camaro will probably weigh 3600lbs, minimum, maybe? With V8 it will pushing 4k no doubt...

LSA Camaro Spied (Z28?)
Wasn't the RS package stand-alone also in the '70-73 2nd gen? I think RS then resulted in the split bumper variant front end..

Camaro Engines? 4 Cylinder Turbo considered by Lutz
Well, the turbo 4 they have today is worlds apart from the '80s junk. This is time to think outside the box... I like the idea of a turbo dieselV6 or V8 Camaro, but Lutz seems set against diesels in the US..

Hyundai Genesis Coupe Pics Leaked
The grille and headlights remind me of a tweaked Lexus IS front end..I don't care for the 'mouth' across the bumper.

New York '08 Preview: 2010 Pontiac sports truck
Well, Caliber isn't necessarily a weapon thing....and Magnum is a wine bottle (and a Renault truck). Dodge definitely has some aggro names, though---Ram, Viper, Challenger, Charger, Avenger, etc... Back in the '60s there were some aggro muscle car names---Eliminator, Judge, Spoiler, etc... No has used Eviscerator or Defecator (which would be the greatest name ever for a heavy metal band, I think).

Yeah...from the front and in profile, it does look like one, doesn't it?

G8 V6 or Malibu LTZ....?
Heh-heh... pretty wierd. If I go with a Town Car, then I'm becoming like my father (who drove them the last 20 years of his life) and I'm a bit young for one (under 40), but I love their old school land yacht American-style luxoboat charms (my favorite rental, along with the Grand Marquis). The CTS I really like for the styling and the interior...it's very ultramodern and high tech, which is appropriate for me since I work in high tech...similar with the TL (and both aren't the predicable BMW choice which my peers often go for). The G8 has an old-school yet modern muscle appeal that I like...etc, etc.. My sister is considering a new car, and she's talked about 3 very different cars--the CTS, the FJCruiser, the Passat. I was the same way when I bought my last car---in the summer of '00, around my 30th birthday, I was seriously looking at the Grand Cherokee, Jetta, Golf, A4, Passat, 4Runner, and Mustang GT. The Jeep ended up being my choice, primarily because my Bronco was worn out by then and needed replacing, and I wanted the off-road capability (which I have used).

Well, and also, a violent weapon isn't necessarily the best name for a car today... I couldn't see a car called 'Revolver', 'Pistol', 'Knife' or 'Shotgun' either...

I'm wondering how the Sky would look with a roof like the Corvette....hoop b-pillar and big glass hatchback.

NYIAS '08: 2009 Honda Fit
The Fit is the Jazz...Jazz is the name for it in Europe and some other markets, I think..

Nice...I have 2 out of the 3 in my Jeep. I want chilled seats and heated/chilled/lighted power cup holders...then I'd be happy>>

G8 V6 or Malibu LTZ....?
Some do, definitely... I can see myself cross-shopping the G8, CTS, TL and Town Car...4 very different cars, but they all appeal to me.. (yes, I'm wierd).

Uh...ok...what's the difference besides 0.2 litres?

It would be nice to see two tones come back...

GM @ NYIAS: Solstice Coupe
What would be interesting is if they do a fixed roof version of the Sky with a different design.

Maybe a large percentage of that is disinformation you and your minions are planting?

"I said MARCH, young man!"
Went for a post-lunch, post-meeting stroll around my office parking lots a few minutes ago to wake up (nice sunny 57-degree day here the Denver burbs). I saw a very clean late-60s/early-70s Merc 280SE sedan in a cream color, German plate on the front. Also saw a sharp Mexico Blue mid '70s 911.

Agreed.. I'd love to see Riviera and Electra (my favorite Buick name) make a comeback also.

New Fit is Go! I've been seeing a lot of Fits lately, incl. a bright orange one w/ tinted windows yesterday.

GM @ NYIAS '08: Pontiac G8 Sport Truck
Yeah, odd... but whatever.....IMHO, let Chevy and Saturn do the mass market FWD generics, let Pontiac have several niche RWD products...

GM @ NYIAS: Solstice Coupe
Yes...I once rode in a Lotus Elise with the top on...it was painful getting in/out (I'm 6'0"). This looks like it would be about as tight.... Looks like it... maybe an option. It doesn't look like the metal panel would fit in the 'trunk' area, though.

G8 V6 or Malibu LTZ....?
I'd take the G8, of course. The Malibu is fine for what it is, but it's a mainstream FWD family sedan. Not my thing.
-
GM @ NYIAS: Solstice Coupe
I can't wait to see it in person. I wonder if I would be able to fit comfortably and see out with the roof on, though..the side windows seem quite small.
