More evidence why global warming hysteria is BS
You won't need 400hp when gas gets to $5 a gallon...just quit yer whinin' and get a sensible commuter car like everybody else (Prius, Corolla, Camry, Civic, Accord, etc..)

Pontiac G8 ST
Reading between the lines, I think PCS means in a few years the Pontiac-Buick-GMC dealers will become Buick-GMC dealers when Pontiac goes the way of Oldsmobile..

Be careful out there, friends
The C&G curse hit me a couple of weeks ago, in a minor way. My Jeep got broken into when I was at a movie... had to replace the driver's window and 2 CDs and a tire gauge that were stolen.

Pontiac G8 ST
Uh-huh..more like a messenger of the Devil (not that I believe in any of that heaven/hell/God/Devil stuff.. I'm a rational, secular atheist).

Challanger Price Updated and it is More
Except for premium import luxury models, sports cars, trucks and SUVs, V8s haven't really been a high volume option in the US market in many years....currently, the domestics offer V8s in a few niche performance models (Mustang, GTO, G8) and a few larger sedans (Grand Marquis, STS, DTS, Lucerne, Town Car, 300C, Magnum, Charger).

Automobile Magazine All-Stars
The press has always tested top of the line models... the base models just aren't interesting enough to talk about..

Where In The Hell...?!
I've had several '80s Fords with the trunk release in the glovebox... For modern cars, I like the trunk/hatch release on the fob.

Holiday Spotter's Guide
I saw an '08 CTS last night...the first one I've seen.... looked great....silver...unfortunately, it was at night and in traffic, so I couldn't see it very closely..

LEAKED LS9 PICTURES!!!!
Interesting engine...now if they'd offer it in special versions of the CTS, G8, Camaro, and Tahoe or Suburban...

More evidence why global warming hysteria is BS
Yeah, but the religious loonies are full of sh*t...I couldn't believe anything they say or believe...none of it based in fact.

Personal Air Land Vehicle
Yes...imagine all the morons yakking on their cellphones or reading email and crashing into power lines, trees, tall buildings...this would be just the ticket for mass mayhem..

Challanger SRT price is released
The price isn't bad...in the same range as the LX SRT8s... but the dealer markup will be disgusting the first year or so.
-
Challanger SRT price is released
With the dealer 'market adjustment' they will be $50k on the lot...ouch.

the site's icon
That blue box w/ the V must be something that comes w/ the board software.. I've noticed it on a few other forums that I frequent..if I have this and one of the others both open, I see the same icon on my Mozilla tabs..

Quality Coffee
I love coffee..takes 2-3 cups in the morning to get me going.. we have a pretty nice local gourmet coffee shop chain here (Peaberry Coffee) ...they have a pretty rich Brazilian coffee that I get a couple of times a week.. I enjoy spending a 1/2 hour or so relaxing at a coffee shop now and then. At home, I usually brew up some Starbucks breakfast blend. We have a Starbucks coffee bar at my office, so I get a Venti Carmel Macchiato or White Chocolate Mocha once in a while.

Would you let someone in your lane or stop to help?
I'll let people in if they use their signals... I generally, don't discriminate against brands, though if they are driving a Jeep or other Chrysler/M-B product or a BMW, I'm more inclined to let them in.. I wouldn't stop on the side of the road to help a breakdown...it's too dangerous from getting hit to who knows if the person broken down is a psycho or criminal... (esp. in a country like the US where there are so many armed nutjobs). No one has stopped for me the few times I've had a breakdown...I always take care of myself and call AAA...

Autoweek loves the New G8
Not necessarily..BMW also has iDrive, which is nonsensical...

Autoweek loves the New G8
HUDs are a silly novelty...how many automakers offer it? Very few... I'd rather have a regular nav system option.

Crap........(Well, not anymore)
I solved my late '20s crisis with a 2yr old M3 back in '98.. I left grad school in '97, moved across the country, got my first good job, and a year later treated myself to a fun toy...my turning 30 crisis involved buying a Jeep. I don't know yet where my turning 40 crisis will take me in June 2010.

Crap........(Well, not anymore)
I'm having my late '30s crisis now... about 2 1/2 years 'till I'm 40... trying to plan out the next couple of years careerwise and geographically now..

Automotive Poll, perception
No prejudice or brand loyality here...I've owned domestic (Ford, Chevy, Jeep) and European (BMW)....I'd consider domestic again (Ford, Cadillac, Jeep), and there are several models from Japanese makes I'd consider (Acura, Infiniti)...though I likely wouldn't consider Korean (Hyundai and Kia are at the cheap and nasty end of the spectrum, IMHO).
