  1. Well, there is at least a 10-15k price difference between a loaded T&C and a base Caravan, so I would expect a nicer interior in the T&C.
  2. Looks good...I like that berry red color...I esp. like the interior.... price seems reasonable also (plenty of equipment for the price).
  3. It's a Chevy..not supposed to be upscale...
  4. Lame nonsense.
  5. True..until a product has shipped and is at the dealer where a consumer can buy it, it's just development talk...who knows what is really going on within GM, they may be on to something big, or it may just be smoke and mirrors.
  6. I'm glad my Jeep has a full size spare in the trunk floor. I've changed flats myself a couple of times (at home), other times had to call AAA (the lug nuts were on so tight I couldn't get them off with the lousy tiny factory lug wrench).
  7. There is also the Taurus X.
  8. Definitely...the greenhouse reminds me of the current 6 and the front fenders remind me of the new 6. The rear is almost Audi-like in profile, better than the current Euro Accord which has a flat, nearly completely vertical rear..
  9. Yes, the front of the next gen TSX will probably resemble this...
  10. The front overhang doesn't look bad, better than some of GMs...it's a pretty slick looking wagon, kind of Mazdaish.
  11. Agreed...it seems reg is bored and trying to stir up trouble. It's a pointless argument, since given their worldwide success, Toyota is obviously doing many things right... the same argument of many overlapping models could be easily leveled at GM...it's not as bad as it used to be when C-P-O-B had a lookalike generic model of almost every FWD platform, but the various brands still have some overlap.
  12. The Lucerne isn't bad, but the LaCrosse is just another dull GM rental car and has warmed over Taurus styling.
  13. Yes...the mainstream family sedan is the biggest market segment..something like 2 million cars a year....Camry, Accord, Fusion, Malibu, etc.. Never underestimate how many people are content with vanilla.
  14. I can't tell if you are being facetious or delusional.
  15. Hmmm...interesting. A blending of parts of Theta and Epsilon, I presume?
  16. 'TE' ?
  17. So after going from 7 models to 3 in about 3 years they are doing better...hmm.
  18. I can't see any scenario that would result in my buying a Hyundai or Kia. Possibly a Honda, Acura or Infiniti, but other current Asian, not too likely. The complexity and reliability issues make German cars less likely for me to buy again...I love BMWs for their driving feel, but the price/complexity/reliability factors are getting hard to justify to myself. I'm thinking GM or Ford for my next purchase, possibility another Jeep...
  19. I couldn't imagine someone 'proud' to own a Hyundai, unless they moved up from a Kia or old Yugo.
  20. I could see a Saab 9-7x replacement coming from this platform...a Cadillac SRX replacement, maybe, but less probable given the FWD origin of the platform.
  21. Yeah, my birthday is right smack in the middle of the year, so the first half of the year, I was 6...
  22. Grand Vitara?
  23. She's cute..kinda has an Eva Longoria thing going on..
  24. My brother used to work in auto sales in the '70s and '90s...Ford, VW, Mazda, Jeep, Pontiac.. I can't recall from talking with him, but how are people paid in auto sales--a base + some amount of commission on each sale?
