hmmm I don't like that thought too much how about "first there was the Lucerne and then there was the DTS" or First there was the Malibu and then there was the Aura I don't think "first there was the Cobalt and then there was the G5" would cut it.

I walk into the dealer already knowing more about the car than the salesman does, the only thing I ever need a salesman for is to write up the paperwork once he's accepted the price I'm willing to pay. If they'd install self checkouts, I wouldn't even need a salesman.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Hyundai already has a larger dealer network than Jag. They'd have to just to move the number of Sonatas and Accents they do. No. Hyundai doesn't have the technology <yet> to take over Jag. The reason their cars get the crash ratings they do is because they simply throw iron at them. No advanced technology going on there. Witness the Kia Amanti that outweighs a DTS! -

people who spend 100k on a BMW or Porsche are paying more money for a lesser car... at least on athletic terms. No, don't increase production. Not everything should mass produced. Keeping an item rare increases the percieved value of the item. To put it another way, would you rather sell two Corvettes with $9000 ADM or 3 Corvettes with $6000 ADM all else being equal?

Pretty soon we won't be allowed to fly. You'll pay $199 + airport fee + 9-11 Security fee + taxes and be told to imagine you were where you want to go. -

before I bought the CTS, I stopped in at a Chrysler dealer to check out the 300M this was before the 300C I had the salesman tell me that the 300M was german engineered and came with a supercharged 3.5 litre v6. I make him open the hood and point to the supercharger.

They already do. The 5-speed in the CTS is awsome, now they just need to extend that to other vehicles.

I drove an Equinox today... to those of you complaining about the drive train, you really need to drive it before you pass judgement. It's not a Vue Redline, but it still moves...

My salesman <of my CTS and Avalanche> sends me letters, service coupons, and business cards every month. He is knowlageable and friendly even though he *looks* like a typical slimball salesman. I recommend him to anyone in the pittsburgh region looking to buy a Cadillac.
