I wonder if they still own the Rover name or if that was sold off to the chinese. They need a family car brand.

Free Supercharging is Back For Model S and X Buyers
Drew Dowdell replied to Drew Dowdell's topic in Tesla
hence the incentives. I think part of the S's problem is that the people who had the money for an S, but are fine with a 3 went to that car instead, for the same reason people who can afford an S-Class often buy an E-Class or C-Class instead. If you really wanted an EV, but didn't care about the extra fluff of the S, then the 3 makes much more sense. -
The Enclave is pretty luxurious, and if you don't care about automatic cruise control, it's pretty on par. Similar statement applies to the Traverse, especially in High Country form.

After seeing its sales slide during the first quarter of this year, Tesla needed to come up with an incentive to help boost sales of the sagging Model-X and Model-S. In that effort, Tesla is returning the offer of free SuperCharging on all Model-S and Model-X sold. The plan was last offered in 2018 and then ended after Elon Musk called the plan unsustainable. Telsa has been making changes to their lineup and pricing almost monthly since the beginning of 2019, so this could be a short term offer or it could stick around longer. Tesla buyers who already purchased their car are out of luck though, the offer only extends to new purchases. View full article

Uh... The Tacoma, Colorado, Canyon, Ranger, Frontier have a different take on that. The 5 of them have sold 275,515 as of the half year report. It's not as big as the big trucks, no, but it's still nothing to sneeze at.

There are people who are limited by the size of vehicle they can have or don't want a truck that large. They can be pretty cumbersome to roll around a city. That's where a mid-size truck would come in.

Acadia just got an update for the exterior. The interior is mostly carryover except for the shifter.

I wish it wasn't taking so long to get my rental on the market. come on, come on!

Traverse and Enclave are it.

There is definitely a need for a midsize RAM pickup along the lines of a Colorado or Ranger. They should probably start with the Gladiator frame as a base.

Well he bought a 200k mile Audi and a wrecked Tesla. I would imagine that would be less money than one new Tesla P85D. The rest of it was custom machining and computer hacking, which it sounds like he did a lot on his own.

Nissan News: 2020 Nissan Versa Pricing Released

If size matters, they should have included the new Jetta in there and then it would have won over the Corolla. -

The Civic I understand, but the Corolla I just can't get behind. It's slow, it doesn't handles particularly well, and the interior is cheap cheap cheap. If you're autocrossing your compact commuter, I can see how the rear suspension might be an issue.... but if you're just buying it as a commuter car, the Mazda 3 is the better choice just for the interior alone. -
The Ram Classic could live on indefinitely as long as it make business sense says FCA CEO Michael Manley. At an investors meeting, Manley suggested that it might even get an update. Ram recently introduced a new Warlock package on the 1500 Classic, indicating their willingness to invest in the aging platform. Ram currently doesn't have a mid-size offering in its stable, and without one on the horizon, the Ram 1500 Classic fills the niche of a lower priced truck. The base Tradesman model rings up at $29,340 and can be configured all the way up to a Big Horn with a 5.7 liter Hemi V8 at $46,240. That contrasts with the new Ram 1500 which starts at $35,135. One thing keeping the Classic around has done is allowed the RAM to creep ahead of the Chevrolet Silverado in the truck sales race, moving to the number two spot in market share for this class of truck. I don't even know how that is possible. The Mazda 3 interior is leagues better, the engine is smoother, the drive more interesting.... -
There was an episode of the Sherlock series Elementary that did that. Someone hacked self-driving car to kill people. It was a Chrysler 300c.

No, I doubt he's getting a Pontiac.

July 2019: Porsche Cars North America

Porsche dealerships are usually paired with some other premium brand. -
It's really hard to gauge what the market is doing when the domestics only report every 3 months. I'm tempted to move our sales reporting to quarterly also.
