  1. How does the engine sound? I found it quite a drone when under heavier (but not full) acceleration, but it was otherwise tame for me.
  2. "There's not any problem putting it in... except for safety, emissions, and fuel economy.... " Though I do firmly believe there should be a Hemi option for the Gladiator. The Pentastar isn't quite enough to be the max output engine.
  3. I really like those interiors
  4. That line runs the entire length of the car... I don't think it is a door seam.
  5. What is strange about it? It's the same thing in concept as buying/selling emissions credits in California.
  6. Hyundai released some sketches of their upcoming Venue due to debut at the New York International Auto Show next week. The Hyundai Venue will be the smallest and least expensive crossover in the Hyundai lineup. From the images, we can see what appears to be a 3 door crossover with a deep-set grille similar in shape and texture to the Hyundai Santa Fe. Deep creases run along the sides to pod like tail lamps. The interior looks handsome and minimalist with a simple 3 dial HVAC control setup, a touchscreen center display and the same row of buttons found on other Hyundai vehicles. It would be interesting if Hyundai does take the route of a 3 door crossover, it might make it a bit of a Hyundai Veloster with a lift kit. If so, it would certainly be a welcome departure from the standard 4-door crossovers that everyone and their grandmother is producing today. The Hyundai Venue will officially debut on April 17th at 10:45am eastern. Stay tuned for this and other coverage of the New York International Auto Show. (Click images to enlarge) View full article

  8. Five different XC40s just on my commute home. Volvo is going to be reporting some great sales months ahead.
  9. @balthazar what phone did you end up getting?
  10. The revero is a transitional ev.... But you already know that
  11. Again, I get that. The premise of my original post was that the change would hurt sales of big ticket items like cars and appliances..... that's what appears to be happening.
  12. I think Ford could be the next likely target. Very little overlap. Whether Ford bites is another question entirely.
  13. While that may be true, it doesn't change the psychological fact that a big check in April helped move consumer spending along in a way that an extra $50 per pay doesn't do.
  14. Add me to the list of people who don't find a flat plane V8 sounding attractive. It may not have as much power or rev as high, but an LT1 or Hemi at full tilt still sounds like my ideal regardless of the actual numbers.
  15. They could totally build something like this.... minus the huge wheels.
  16. I got a reply back from a GM spokesperson who said that PSA never pursued it.
  17. That doesn't tell the whole story. The deductions all got mangled and now you can't deduction things you could before.. Sure the standard deduction is higher, but for many people that doesn't counteract the loss of their other deductions... especially in high-cost-of-living states. You're not a homeowner yet are you? (I don't remember if you bought that building or not)
  18. This Boeing debacle reminds me a lot of the Series of Unfortunate Events that was the GM Ignition Switch fiasco. Nothing purposely engineered wrong, but an unforeseen series of events occurred that caused crashes.
