  1. A) yes B) If they aren't they might be able to tell you who was.
  2. Haven't I already sent you a GMC one? I'll figure out the shipping for the jeep kit, but I may also be in the Philly area in the 1st week of December if you're around.
  3. Dealership is able to do it usually.
  4. Contact Buick and see if there is an Intellilink update? I will say that Lollipop has been one of the *worst* of all of the Android updates lately.
  5. Well, I don't know if it is Buick specific, but I get that call failed issue all the time just using the phone in the first place. Not even just using bluetooth.
  6. How do they issue a stop sale on used vehicles? Only at VW/Porsche/Audi dealerships?
  7. Tribecca is gone too
  8. omg.... the full size Cadillac with a V8 will be here in 24 months or less! Give it up!
  9. I think the detail on this thing is amazing! Shannon Goff was born in Detroit, a trigger for her lifelong interest in the evolution of transportation. Captivated by her grandfather’s 1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V, she had considered making the car many times, but shied away due its massive size. “Miles to Empty” brings this longtime dream to reality, a sculpture that is her most ambitious project to date. The work pays homage to her grandfather and hometown while dually reexamining themes inherent to the Motor City like the American obsessions of luxury and convenience. 10. They could just call it WD... and then if they have a 4.0 liter diesel... it could be the WD40.
  11. Johan has stated that he wants to see diesels across the Cadillac lineup. That is most likely so they can get better Euro sales. I haven't a clue about the Duramax branding, but I'd doubt it. I suspect they'd have Opel do the engineering for them, particularly after the recent success of the new 1.6 diesel in Europe that the European press has dubbed "Whisper Diesel" for being so quiet.
  12. This was actually the original plan for the Genesis, but the world economy at the time didn't allow for it.
  13. The for-now flagship has a 4-cylinder, V6, V6TT, and plug-in hybrid, with a V8TT coming in the 2nd or 3rd model year... and very likely a diesel. And if they need a V-series, the CTS-V engine will drop right in.
  14. Your ATS data is it out of date... it's for the 6-speed. All of the ATS automatics are 8-speed now. The all-wheel drive CTS with the 8-speed can do 0-60 in 5.7, so the lighter RWD CT6 will get there faster. Someone want to massage SMK's feet after that run to move the goal posts? For what it's worth, I would really like to see a radical twin-turbo V6 in the Corvette. I think it would be an interesting twist. Another round of goal post moving, you must have Gold status at DSW shoes..... the S550 is a bi-turbo V8 that in all likelihood will get spanked in a 0-60 by a V6 twin-turbo Cadillac... and not even the biggest twin turbo V6 Cadillac offers.... and then there is the Cadillac CT6 Twin-Turbo V8 coming Because you're so "means" focused rather than "ends" focused, you can't even bring yourself to admit that Cadillac can do with 4-cylinders what it takes other companies 8-cylinders to do.
  15. The answer to that can vary greatly. In nearly all cases, they are kits given out to the journalists attending a press release event for a specific vehicle. It can be anything from a cheap, plain, branded USB drive with the new model's pictures on it, to large books with pictures and stats on the new model, to even more elaborate things like water tight emergency kits (Jeep), an espresso cup set (Fiat), or fancy desk ornaments (Corvette, NSX). FCA almost always does the biggest and bulkiest ones... large books or heavy metal boxes. The one for the Dart was rather simple.. it was just a USB drive shaped like a dart you'd throw at a board. Honda does the tiniest USB drives I've ever seen. VW does their in the shape of a key. I have an Audi tie clip USB drive. Mercedes hands out CD or business cards with their web address on them (cheap cheap cheap)
  16. I thought the original suggestion that brought the 2.0T up was for a RWD sports truck.
  17. Maybe I missed something, but I thought we were comparing the 2.5 to the 2.0T... not the V6.
  18. Does anyone here have any interest in manufacturer press kits? I have certain ones I will not be parting with (Stingray, NSX) but most others I need to get rid of. If you cover the shipping I would be happy to send them to you. Most come with a catalog type information kit and a USB drive. I have 2015 Challenger/Charger (unopened) - Claimed 2014 Jeep Cherokee (unopened) 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee (opened, complete) 2014 Jeep Kit with books on the lineup and a small safety kit (very heavy metal box, have USB drive but I've used it so it is blank) 2014 Dodge Durango - large book with USB inside. (open, complete) Kia Soul - USB drive only....blank, in the shape of a punk hippity hoppity hampster Ford - USB drive only....Blue Oval flip out USB, blank Ram Promaster - USB drive only blank
  19. I would bet that the 2.0T would come from the ATS rather than the Regal... it's good for a little bit more power in that application. Anyway, anyone who thinks the 2.5 has better low end torque than the 2.0T clearly hasn't driven both. Even the old 2.4 has better low end torque than the 2.5.
  20. Again, you care more about the how than the results. Why is it not embarrassing to Lexus that the 4-cylinder CT6 will be just one tenth of one second slower than the LS460 V8? Why is it not embarrassing to Kia that the 4-cylinder CT6 will be half a second faster than the K900 V8? Why is it not embarrassing to Hyundai that the 4-cylinder CT6 will be more than half a second faster than the Equus? Because you're more worried about the "how" then the results...... Instead of wandering around clutching your pearls saying "why oh why doesn't Cadillac have a V8?"..... you should be asking why all of these V8s are getting spanked by a Cadillac 4-cylinder. Why is Cadillac running a 4-cylinder turbo? Because they can still beat V8s with it. We don't have 0-60 times for the 3.0TT, but I fully expect it to outrun your vaunted S550. And Johan already said that the Cadillac CT6 is getting a twin-turbo V8, it was verified by another Cadillac rep, and the timeline is in the second or third model year of the car. You KNOW this... you even posted in that thread. So will you shut up about the CT6 V8 already?! Even Benz doesn't launch all of its cars with all of the planned engines in place at launch. It will be in the 550hp to 600hp range. And yes, we already know... no matter WHAT V8 Cadillac makes, it will never ever be good enough for you and you'll troll it also.
  21. The CX-3 is going to bring a lot of new attention to the Mazda brand.
  22. They need to fix the holes in their lower brands before they go about trying to restart Alfa.
  23. But it is not you that are calling them models... the brands themselves call them models. Is a BMW 320i a different model from a BMW 328i? Is a BMW 328i xDrive another model? BMW says yes... I say no. Go up even further. Are the 3-series and 4-series two different models? In marketing materials, BMW says yes, when reporting sales numbers BMW says no.
  24. And as promised, I have closed the thread due to fighting and removed all posts, including the good ones, that happened after my line in the sand.
