If you're in the market for a micro car, why not this over an iQ or a SMART? The only other thing I see competing with the Spark might be the 500, but even then, it's more expensive.

Buick News: Why The 2013 Buick Regal Is More Expensive

I don't mind eAssist being an option, but the 2.4 or 2.5 should have remained as base. -

At 116 ft3 the Lacrosse is EPA size rated as a mid-size while the XTS (about the same inside as the Impala) is rated 122 ft3 or full size but you are correct about the Honda Accord. It is EPA size rated at 121 ft3 The minimum to be considered full size is 120 ft3

I need to look into this company more ... while not at work. -
I'm not disagreeing with your methods, I'm simply pointing out what GM is already working on.

Buick is trying to do what Mercury tried but failed at. And that's ok. Just because Mercury failed, doesn't mean Buick will. For one, the Buick versions of each car are different enough that a person couldn't just go over to a Chevy dealer and get the identical car. There won't be a Chevy version of the Encore in the states, the Verano is different enough with better levels of equipment and engines than the Cruze, Regal v. Malibu is no comparison for someone looking for a premium sedan and the same goes for Enclave v. Traverse. The only one that concerns me is Lacrosse v. Impala, but I expect we will be seeing a newly refreshed Lacrosse very soon.

It's Albert sized. He's 5'7" and 125lbs soaking wet.

The only thing I could see working out for Saab is if this here deal turned into a back door way for Saab to be acquired by Youngman.

It would be a neat place to do a story on. -
I think a better term would be "merging platforms" as components of each will carry forward into the new. The Lambda and Epsilon merger is interesting because of Chi. As GM got closer and closer to running out of money ahead of the BK, the Chi platform was canceled. What was Chi? It was the sedan version of Lambda originally intended to sit under the Lucerne and DTS. Instead, GM took Epsilon and stretched it out as much as they could to fill as many roles as possible.

I wonder if they couldn't make money on it. It might have been too much truck for Joe-the-Plumber to buy new and he didn't need the full Hemi anyway.

Am I being a dick to used motorcycle sellers?

I would ask them if they can expand on what improvements and upgrades they've made to the bike worth so much more than the KBB value. -
Opel/Vauxhall News: Opel To Halt Production At Two Plants

That would be a great way to hand the entire Euro market to VW, BMW, and Mercedes. -
+1 Albert likes the Encore a lot as well. It will likely supplement the CR-V eventually. Since the CR-V is paid off, we are just putting a "car payment" into savings for now and will buy the Encore as an additional car and then I can use the CR-V to beat up on.

Interactive Review: 2013 Mazda CX-5 Touring
Drew Dowdell replied to William Maley's topic in Reviews
Yes.. The CX-5's suspension and steering is what you expect of Mazda; Sporty and fun. Mazda's have rarely, if ever, been about being the fastest in a straight line. They've never much concerned themselves with 0-60 times. The Miata is considered one of the most sporty and fun cars you can get, yet in 0-60, even a Buick Lacrosse V6 is about a full second faster. I'm not sure the CX-5's relatively slow getup and go is an issue.- 19 replies
