  1. Edge I've driven one (albeit an AWD model) and the road manners were superb. The Edge will give you more interior room and a lot more cargo room. The Vue is significantly smaller than the Edge, yet they weigh almost exactly the same and get the same EPA mileage. With 2 kids, I'd go with the extra cargo room, thats the type of thing that makes looks a moot point. As far as looks go, I think they both look good, the Edge having the edge (ha ha) when painted orange.
  2. Most of his posts are.
  3. f@#k the nasty smell.
  4. I cheated on your mom with your sister.
  5. Maybe they picked up the ricer mentality and started to believe that stickers add mpg?
  6. Check out the 360 exterior view here, it has all the badges and stickers and whatnot. I'm just shocked they didn't put one on the hood or roof. Guess they do have one on the windshield, didn't notice that at the dealer.
  7. Uggg....it still pisses me off that the douchebag I was dealing with sold that Caprice wagon out from under me.
  8. Honestly, if its just point-A to point-B, I'd go with the Aveo, its almost 2 feet shorter than the Cobalt and less likely to be stolen, though the 'Balt would get better gas mileage.
  9. I saw a Yukon Hybrid out on a dealer lot today (sorry, no pics) but the damned thing had 8 hybrid badges. One on each front fender, on on each c-pillar, the big-ass graphic on the bottom of the doors (god I hate that, worse than the "IROC" on 3rd gen Camaros) then one on the tailgate and another on the back window. Jesus, Toyota may run a lot of "we're green" tv ads, but the f@#king Prius on has one hybrid badge.

    Bought a kayak

Bought a new kayak, This one, also lime green and its great, although the lake was really cloudy so I couldn't see a damned thing out of my weiner-window. I wanted to hold off, but got it for a steal, and because it has a kid's seat, I'll be able to take Alex out with me from time to time. Its longer than my last one, which makes it an even bigger pain in the ass to throw on top of the Fusion, I really need a decent old van or wagon like now.
  11. We're practically neighbors, I'm in Springgy, MO
  12. 1968 Firebird White 350/automatic 71,000 miles $12,000

    Wish list

C3 prices are getting pretty high, unless you want a total restoration, I have a feeling C4s are heading that route, they're not cheap anyways. A '90+ roadster is the only way I'd want to get into a C4,
  14. Back in the 97-98 timeframe, you could get a regular cab Dakota 4x2 with the 5.2 to make one hell of a sleeper pickup. I'm not sure, the 5.9 may have also been available in 4x2 regular cab configuration too. This dropping of regular cabs (Nissan is also guilty, Ford is too, kinda, I dont get those mini-doors on the F-150) is just sad.
  15. I've gone through 3 summers without AC. My '87 Dakota had AC but it didn't work, nobody could figure out why, that was 1 full summer and another half a summer. The AC in the Sebring went out at 45,000 miles (comp died) and didn't get fixed, that was one summer, even with a convertible, AC can come in handy, especially when its 80 and raining. My L200 had a metal hose blow off the comp towards the end of summer, which really sucked since it had black leather. When I was looking at IONs a few years ago, the salesman I was talking to said they never stocked cars without AC, but they would order one so equipped if someone wanted.

    Wish list

Dammit, if only I had the space and didn't have school to pay for. I'd have a: 1971 Datsun 240Z or a: 1991 Lotus Elan or a: 1994 Corvette Convertible or a: 1974 Volkswagen Thing
  17. I'd agree about the last 200SX we got in the states, and even about the 240SX to a point, but the 240/260/280Z/ZX were fantastic, not really girly cars. The 300ZX was a bit of a poser-mobile.
  18. 400Z with a V6 is fine, but what I want is a "baby" version, say a new 240Z, smaller, lighter, more in tune with the original.
  19. If we elect Clinton, McCain or Obama, it doesn't matter, they cannot undo 8 years of stupidity. Gas prices wont go down, but hopefully they wont inflate as rapidly as they have during El Retardo's reign of Terror.
  20. Selling cheap cars to fleets isn't class leading, so again, I ask reg, when is the last time GM had a class leader? Like it or not, the Camry hasn't been fleeted nearly as heavily as most GMs over the last 20 years.
  21. When is the last time GM had a class leading car? Intrigue? Before or after that?
  22. It doesn't have the 4x4 stance. Plus, that color is fantastic.
  23. For under $1000, you can easily find an Accord that will br great on gas and last a lot longer, and be a lot more fun, than any similarly priced J-body, even if the J in newer.
  24. Late 80's/early 90's Accord or Civic Great mileage They run forever (literally, there is one in my family with 250k on it and its still strong) Cheap Handle better than a '71 Nova could ever dream of
  25. Gongrats, fine car in a fine color. I'm in the minority (especially around here) but I have a ton of respect for the Civic, it is worlds better than the Cobalt and probably a better daily driver than the Astra.
