  1. Wow, he's old. Time for him to go buy a Buick. Happy b-day dude.
  2. Croc said the same thing..... (just a joke, settle down)
  3. Are all of the pages stuck together yet?
  4. Awkward looking, side profile reminds me a bit of the last Sentra but with supersize overhangs.
  5. I blame the rust from not seeing live pitching in front of a crowd for a week.
  6. I dont take golf too seriously, but I do have a set of clubs and used to try to go to the driving range a couple of times a week and hit a course at least once a month. My life has been hectic the last few months, so I haven't gotten much in, but it'll come back. I cant drive worth a $h!, but I can hit the short shots and putt like a mofo.
  7. The "lesser" teams ('03 Marlins, '04 BoSox) had exceptional pitching which this year's Cardinals lack, outside of Carpenter and Suppan. The bullpen is borderline atrocious, although I do respect the job Wainright has been doing, and they have to start Anthony Reyes and Jeff Weaver, neither of whom should be trusted in a pressure situation. That may leave the bullpen exposed and with Rolen and Edmunds not 100% the offense isn't that intimidating. The Tigers can pitch around Pujols in close situations and pitch him agressively when the guys in front of him fail to get on.
  8. Without Pedro and El Duque, the Mets were just an average team in the retard clusterf@#k that is the NL. I live in Missouri but really really really hate the Cardinals. Detroit in 4, I'll be surprised if StL leads for one inning during the Series.
  9. I looked at a Yukon today, may look at a Tahoe tomorrow. I just really love the way the first gen Escalade/Denali look, better than most of the GMT-800s, so I really want to find a good one.
  10. I've heard horror stories about 300ZXs, many involving clutches/transmissions and interior shortcomings/things falling off/seats coming off of their tracks, galore. A guy in my office worked for Nissan for over a decade, kind of a corporate type job, and he once said that the 300ZX is "pure junk, garbage." Plus, its Japanese so the AC is going to work not so goodly in the summer. But I bet they're hella-fun to drive. Cloud cars...ugh....I could see an emo kid buying a cloud car because "nobody like me, I want a crappy car to share in my pain." An Intrepid wouldn't be a bad choice (just keep the Patron Saint of ropped transmissions in the car somewhere) especially if you can find an R/T with the 3.5. They're kinda cool. Along those same lines, why not a 300M?
  11. It was 2:30am, cut me some slack. I'm also looking at the 360s, turns out Bravadas and Trailblazers drop in value very quickly.
  12. My laptop is a dell, not a bad piece of machinery. I got a few upgrades and ended up geting it for about $1200, which isn't bad.
  13. I may need to take back what I said earlier. Circumstances may dictate a larger SUV and sooner. I've started looking at GMT-700 and GMT-800 Tahoes and Denalis, with a few Escalades mixed in, just in case I want to let my inner pimp out. Dogs, kid, friends, family, random crap to carry around, difficult to pass roads, etc are all things that make a 14mpg Tahoe more practical than a 28mpg Fusion.
  14. I saw a Northwest Territory plate on an Expedition a couple months ago. Looked pretty cool, I wish unique designs like that would come around more often.
  15. One question, how can you expect to get book for an Impala that you say in another thread has an odd misfire, slipping tranny and a tempermental speedo? '04 Impalas are like most GM cars from that time frame, you'll have to work your ass off to get anything out of it because they depreciate like crazy.
  16. Apparently "dork" doesn't mean "whale penis." I found that out the other day.
  17. Slim Jims are made of dead horse, they go good with Pabst Blue Ribbon.
  18. I've been skeptical all along. Detroit didn't have the experience of going into Yankee stadium, a lot of their players had never played a game in October after the grind of a 162 game regular season and they overachieved with a bunch of free swingers coming into the playoffs where pitching usually dominates. Is it just me or does that sound a lot like last years White Sox or 2003's Marlins or 2002's Angels or 2001's Diamondbacks? Yeah, I shouldn't haev been so hard on the Tigers, their pitchers have pitched and their hitters have hit. They're the real deal, at least for 2006. Rogers will be even older and they will still have a bunch of hit-or-miss guys in 2007 unless they make some changes, they may struggle like the 2006 White Sox, the 2004 Marlins, the 2003 Angels and the 2002 Diamondbacks.
  19. So where was Croc on National Coming Out Day? Any news?
  20. Have the riots started yet? The drunks getting behind the wheels of their roadsters and flooring it onto the freeway as a form of celebration? They are a good team and have proven it in the playoffs. Doesn't matter who comes out of the NL, the Tigers are going to win the World Series.
  21. Dude, thats sweetness, cant wait to see it at NAIAS
  22. It can, there are 4 different options for the color of them.
  23. Gawd she's hottt!
  24. My bet would be stress, letting little things eat away at you until you take it out on someone. If at all possible, take the weekend to relax, maybe get away from your surroundings, a nice drive out to the middle of nowhere, a motel room in some mom & pop place along a quiet road, time to yourself to think, analyze and emote without risking alienating those close to you. Or just fire up the woodchipper and start feeding your enemies in feet-first.
