  1. I'm with you. walmart attracts rude & trashy people.
  2. I just wish walmart would file bankruptcy and disappear. They are a cancer on our economy and society.
  3. We just picked up a new HHR 2LT 2 weeks ago.
  4. Beautiful, especially when compared to the previous. Now does this mean it will win all the comparos? Before the only beef was the inside.
  5. Looks great, though I do wish they would have went farther to seperate it from the Outlook from the side.
  6. #3 suprises me. I would have figured the gay community to have better tastes than that. All the other ones have some sort of flair to them, but #3.
  7. A male under 60 that owned a camry or corolla.
  8. The problem, we either pay via taxes or we pay via taxes. Those without health care end up in the emergency room and then we still pay for it, because they end up filing for bk or just not paying. Either way we pay for it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not one for national health care. I just know that either way those that are responsible pay for those that are not.
  9. I took home a near perfect condition 1989 Suburban last night. The vehicle is almost identical to the brochure for 1989. We wanted something that we could go 4-wheeling in and use to tow, which originally was going to be a Bravada. My wife found this Suburban which was owned by an elderly couple since new. It has only 82,000 miles and included tons of records. Supposedly they only used the 4-wheel drive 3 times when it snowed here in the PDX area. The truck includes; 1. Silverado package 2. Power Windows / Locks / Tilt / Cruise 3. Rear and Front A/C 4. Roof rack 5. AM/FM CD player 6. 3rd seat 7. Front bucket seats 8. 350 cu in engine with a 4 speed automatic Here are the pictures promised. 1989 Suburban V1500 Silverado & 2006 HHR 2LT
  10. I want to know where Cadillacs ULV is.
  11. Nice truck. Congrats.
  12. Great color. That was the exact car I was trying to talk my wife and daughters into, but they wanted something more "exciting".
  13. Yes. Marriage and abuse (from uncle). Both were helpful.
  14. Not nearly as good as the Cobalt. 31 to 32 mpg.
  15. The Chevy Dealer we bought our Cobalt & HHR from is starting to look empty (like the days of employee pricing). They went from approx 18 Cobalts, down to 5 in just a few days. Anyone know if GM will continue this like they did employee pricing?
  16. Beautiful.
  17. Our new 2006 HHR 2LT
  18. I wouldn't say 1/2, but more than 1. You can't help but have gay friends in the NW as those that "come out" in other states, move here to be "accepted".
  19. I like it. It takes the G6 to the next level by giving it a good interior and more refined exterior.
  20. Been there, done that, sold it too our friend who is still in love with the car (19 years old making a Caprice the perfect abuse car). Great choice that I think you'll have little problems with. The catch, we've looked hard and wide and even beaten and as a K-9 unit, they go for more than $2500. But if you really do want one, look at teh K-9 units, they tend to save you $1000 or more and it's not that hard to convert it back to a "normal" vehicle.
  21. We just bought a HHR 2LT last night, to be picked up today. I love the 0%, it helped us get MUCH more car for our $$ without devaluing the car via a rebate. Our new HHR is/has; 1. Daytona Blue exterior 2. Medium Cashmere Cloth Seats (wife hates leather) 3. Roof rails 4. Running Boards 5. 5-speed 6. 17 inch high polished wheels 7. Cargo Mat 8. Sunroof 9. 260 watt Pioneer sound system 10. In-dash CD changer 11. more At 39,000 miles our little Cobalt has served us well in the past year, it was just too small and I wanted something with "luxury" options. It's kinda fun to have gotten the exact car on the front of the selling brochure.
  22. Congrats. I couldn't pass it up either (0% for 72 months).
  23. My parents had a nack, and still do, for buying crap and selling the good ones. 1968 Camaro SS/RS which was traded in for $200 1972 Vega, suprisingly one of their more reliable cars along the way 1977 Mazda rotory wagon which provided many memories of sitting on the side of the road waiting for help 1977 toyota corolla, not a bad car and provided little issue though I do remember thinking it was cheap crap as a kid because it had vinyl floors and vinyl seats 1980 Datsun 210 which also provided more than enough memories of sitting on the side of the road waiting for help and was the most hated cars of my childhood 1985 GMC Safari, our most beloved family car as a kid that my Dad wrecked 1984 Ford Thunderbird that I hosed on when I was 17. I've never experienced a car with more electrical problems 1988 Cutlass Supreme, my lesson on why not to buy the 1st year, but still a great car to drive. Everything a teenager could do to a car, my brother and I did to this one. 1992 Saturn SC2 fun but too many rattles 1988 Volvo 765 Turbo, probably my Mom's most loved car which my brother flipped on the highway at 60 mph (typical Volvo they didn't even have a scratch) 1990 Volvo 745 Turbo, bought used with some issues 1992 Volvo 780 Turbo, same as 1990 745 Turbo 1996 Plymouth Voyager, great lease deal to get out of 780 Turbo 1998 Silhouette which was sold to my brother and ran great until 115,000 miles when they were ready for something new 2000 Regal LSE, beautiful and flawless 2003 Rendevzous which they still have and would keep if gas wasn't so high (they are looking at hybrids ) 2005 scion xa, bought because GM doesn't have any cars that get in the high 30s on their EPA ratings. This one already has alot of sqeeks moans an groans and they baby it.
  24. The procedure is not real specific. Kind of like how the horespower ratings used to be. There are ways for GM to improve their mileage ratings like toyota does. If you check out the EPA website to find out real life gas mileage you'll find alot of GM products getting better than they are marked from and every toyota and honda under their ratings.
