  1. I would, if my wife would let me.
  2. This summer we get to spend our money on building a fence (over $2500). No trips until next year (saving for Disneyland).
  3. So the question is will the concept vehicle be a compact or midsize?
  4. toyota seems to be his make fun of company right now. It seems to be the company more and more people are enjoying making fun of.
  5. Great, but the Vue is just ugly. It will be that much more interesting when they do it with a sedan, or a compact car (Cobalt, or ??).

    Toyota hates me

The only people I've seen in scions are over 50, including my parents.
  7. The Envoy, Yukon and Acadia all serve different markets. Yukon - Those needing heavy duty towing and hauling ability. Envoy - Those wanting a true "truck" SUV with body on frame. Great for heavier towing and capable of going "off-road" Acadia - Those wanting a "city" SUV. Able to pull a small trailer, and haul the kids to the soccer game. I do think the Acadia will steal from the other two with todays gas prices, but I think it's more likley to steal from those wanting something bigger than a sedan and not willing to buy a minivan.
  8. If it's something "different" maybe a 4-door Kappa for Pontiac. Funny, toyota seems to be going the way of GM with the making of products that are over analyized and not designed with compassion.
  9. The Park Avenue has always been a very statley car with lots of class. I would take one in a heart beat.
  10. Any guess on how much gas savings the new 6 speed will actually bring? Imagine an AFM 3.9 with a 6 speed auto. hmmmm
  11. I wonder why they are doing fleet only for the Uplander. With todays gas prices, I would imagine many people liking the idea of an Uplander with AFM and E85.
  12. We've had great luck with both the Intrigue and the Alero, though we found the Intrigue to be the nicer of the two and well worth the extra money. With todays gas prices, an Alero with an Ecotec would give you a little bit of everything. Around here you can find one with 50k or so for approx $7000.
  13. Any new news on the hybird version?
  14. That would be awesome, especially for those that are baby boomers looking for a "luxury" who are still hippie at heart.
  15. Will this trend in China follow over to the US over the years?
  16. Congrats! It doesn't get any better. I keep asking for another but . . .
  17. I think it would make a perfect small Saturn.
  18. You missed none. Having grown up in a place where drugs are everywere and those that use them are stupid, my response was to stay as far away as possible from them.
  19. You must not live in foreign car country because I've seen more than tundra and titan on the side of the road, and or being towed into a dealership.
  20. Ah hah, so your family is one of those people. It's those da_n Californians that ruin the prices in Oregon. There is a joke regarding Californians coming to Oregon; There were three guys camping, 1 Californian, 1 Oregonian, and 1 Texan. After along day of hunting they settled down next to a campfire with some food and a beer. The Texan, in true Texan show off style, threw his beer can in the air and shot it. The Californian, never to be out done, said "I can do that with my eyes closed". He throws up the can, closes his eyes and hits the can. Without saying a word, the Oregonian throws his can in the air, points his gun at the Californian and shots, only to catch the can when it falls. The Texan freeks out at the Oregonian and says, "What the heck did you do that for?". The Oregonian replys, "The cans worth a nickel, Californians are a dime a dozen"
  21. And that is why so many young people are loving Buicks. They might be "old" but atleast they have a personality.
  22. That's where we are at. When we bought our home our mortgage guy told us we qualified for more. We just didn't think it was smart to push the limit if the house we wanted was less than our max.
  23. Nice to see younger generations giving the domestics credit were credit is due, unlike the baby boomers who currently run all the magazines that slam the domestics.
  24. Wow, I didn't think that was possible.
  25. I about craped bricks when we got our appraisal to redo our 2nd. We've owned our home for only 10 months, and it has gone up over 23%. Portland is one crazy place to live when it comes to housing.
