  1. The leather is great. I love every inch of my new car. I tried the seats of the G8s on the show, and I absolutely hated it. It's too soft, and it feels cheap to me. Well, to me at least. Also, I hated the dashboard design which to me, is too plain, and boring. Also, I don't like the fact that it isn't really a North American made. I absolutely hate imports. Part of the reason I got the Grand Prix all due to the foolishness of GM by killing it in place for this trashy import. I don't care about the drivetrain nor power so..... All that matters to me in a car is the American design, and American(Canada included) made, the size, and the styling. I don't like the G8's styling to begin with so..... Since it is nothing more than a re-badged Holden import. I have nothing against Holden nor any Australian make, I just don't want them to do business under Pontiac name. That's all.
  2. Well, I got this back in February (February 2nd, to be exact), I posted this on other sites I visit including my sites, but since I wasn't around here, I didn't post here. So here are some photos along with a video clip I have taken the next day I brought my baby home. The sun's glare made it a bit of a challenge to take a good photo, but at least my Samsung camera did a decent job on them, though not perfect. Yep, that's me right there, I am a fat little Asian dude as you can see in the clip. The features it has are: Sunroof, 6CD Changer with Monsoon 9 Speaker audio, Leather, Heated Seats, Sport Package(Fog lights, Dual Exhaust Pipes), Fold Flat Passenger Seat, and ABS. Pretty much loaded without the side curtain airbags. It costed me around $24,700 before taxes. Not a cheap car but.....
  3. Hello, It's been some time that I've been here, but I just wanted to post this. This is one of several footages I took at the show. This is the only one I will post here, for I don't want to spam up the boards. If anyone is interested in viewing all the footages I've taken, you can check them out at the page of my site at: http://z4.invisionfree.com/CarsDiscussion_...hp?showforum=74 Most of them have been posted there right now and the remaining few will be added there shortly.
  4. Hello, Just wanted to say goodbye. I won't really cancel my membership here, but I just felt that most of my threads got ignored these days and gets buried in the back never to be retrieved, also, I know most people are sick of me whinning about things, spamming with all the nonsense(including my less than stellar pics), and all the craps I posted here, so I felt it is time for me to take a break. I already post in more than 16 - 20 boards, so, for now, I will be focusing more on improving my 3 sites, and decided to part with so many great people I met here. I may come back later(god knows when), but I guess, I will take some rest for now. I know most people hate me here, so I will just take some time off for now to cool off and for those people to forget me. Thank you all, you've all been a great friends of mine.
  5. One thing is certain, I will NEVER going to be able to afford those.
  6. This is a Korean site I just found, a blog rather, that lists some, if not all dimensions of the 3.3Liter Korean version of the Genesis. It does not have any interior dimensin, everything is in Korean, and the metric system is in millimeters, but here is the trasnlation I have listed for you so you can see them, I am not good in metric, so I am not sure what do they equal to inches, so do the math if you want. http://blog.naver.com/ehddka12?Redirect=Lo...No=140046102202 Length X Width X Height: Wheelbase: Weight Dist: Weight: Not listed Drivetrain: Minimum Turning Circle: Not listed Engine Type: Fuel Capacity: Max HP: 290(3.3) Max Torque: Fuel Tank: Gasoline Category: Large Car Engine Type: Fuel Capacity: Max HP: 290 Max Torque: Miles Per Gallen(Liter here): I just put the translations only, the numbers you can see by clicking on the link and scroll down until you see a little box that is written in Korean.
  7. Upon visiting to the Dealer yesterday, the salesperson told me there is a rumor that the G8 will be made in Canada, after Chevy is ready to build Camaro there, since Camaro's will be built in Canada, he told me that there is a rumor floating around that G8's production will also make it into Canada as well. Has anyone heard about it? or is it just a rumor? Just wonderring, though I will never buy G8 in either case, since I still believe the price is way too much for what it really is, well, to me.
  8. You mean, I can't cancel it after an year? That sucks.... btw, that's a beautiful sig, PCS. Though I am not getting red since my current Grandam is Red.
  9. Just been to the dealer, and they informed me that they usually get an E-mail from GM, if the certain models are closed for orderring, but since they haven't got anything yet in regards to the 'stopping production' for the '08 Grand Prix, he said that it may be just a rumor, and I hope that is true. He asked me back then, if that's the case, how will they fill all the orders that may come in since it's only January. He told me that they got an E-mail a month before closing the order for '08 Vibe, but they haven't received anything in regards to Grand Prix. Also, I was lucky enough to find that the Dealer located 3 cars in the other dealers that had exact options I wanted. I may have to try and hurry to make enough money to grab that one. Now, if only I can cut the price down further from $25,930(minus whatever rebate they have, which is around $1,500 right now) asking price from that dealer, since that dealer is only about few miles away from my home. Don't want to travel too far. I just hope it isn't true that they stopped making the Grand Prix, which I fell in love with. The dealer had 2 2008's on the lot which I sat on(too bad they didn't have black nor with leather). The more I look at it, I love it even more. I have a question though, who bought Grand Prix's if there's any here, is on-star free for a certain time? or do I have to get it whether I like it or not?, since the sticker saids it has it on every single Grand Prix I saw, no matter which dealer I went to, on both, the sedan and the GXP. Buddy of mine told me it isn't really worth it, but I was just wonderring, that do I have to stick with it(does it come with it in the first place)? or is it an option that I don't have to get, that I can remove it if I can save a few bucks? Which I forgot to ask the dealer. Thanx.
  10. Going to the dealer now, to find out if they have the black one with ABS, Sunroof, Foglight, and leather included, which are the only thing I want. Hopefully, it's just a rumor that they stopped making it. One of the dealer told me that it is still in production, I hope they are right.
  11. I contacted my local Pontiac dealer as well, but according to him, he wasn't sure, he told me that the Dealers are usually the last ones to know. Oh well......
  12. Still, it's a STUPID move to kill a car even before an announced model year is passed. I've been working to get enough money to order the car, now I can't. If this is true, I would like to say F*** You GM.
  13. I just HOPE this is just a rumor and I pray to god that they haven't STOP making it, since I am going to the dealer in about two weeks to reserve one. It will be a STUPID move for GM since they already annouced that it will stay until 2008 model year, not 2007. I would NEVER want to waste my money on that stupid looking G8 that is even more expensive. GM is forcing me to hate them.
  14. Wait a minute, then is that mean, I can't order an 08 Grand Prix Sedan? I am not interested in GXP, but I was going to order one in January. This sucks.....
  15. It's now officially 2008 here. The year of the mouse(in oriental calendar). I just wish everyone a healthy, safe, peaceful, and very happy and prosperous new year. May this year be the year without so many crimes and tragedies we had on 2007. HAPPY NEW YEAR C & G and EVERYONE AND ALL OF THEIR FAMILIES.
  16. Still have around 4 hours from where I am, but Happy New Year Everyone.
  17. Hmm, Interesting. What episode of Top Gear was this, so I can search Youtube to see if there is any vids up. Since they don't broadcast it in the US for it is British. Really a good show.
  18. Well, I just hate Chevy. Plain and simple. Sorry. No matter what they do, if they don't KILL HALF of their models, Impala included, to be fair, NEVER to return, I am going to keep on hating them. Chevys will never get any support from me. Sorry.
  19. Sorry if it was offensive to you, but I just want to see chevy to drop at least a SINGLE model, it looks as though they are keeping ALL of their STUPID models while killing so many models of the other divisions. I just DESPISE Chevy for getting all the undeserved love and attention from GM. I know they are the money maker, but they can easily change that by putting more attention to the other divisions as well. Chevy's are not the best.
  20. I know the G6 GXP styling isn't for everyone, but to me, it looks sporty enough to differentiate it from the regular version. Well, but then again, I love anything that's Pontiac, EXCEPT that Aussie made GTO and the upcomming Holden Commodore, *COUGH* G8 *COUGH* that are just plain ugly. I think G6 GXP is worth every penny, though my mind is set to get that last breed of the BEAUTIFUL, good ol' American family sedan Grand Prix before GM screws up again killing it after 08 in place of that aforementioned IMPORT from down under that is just a rebadged version, which is downright ugly and even worse interior that is nothing more than a trash. Part of the reason that my new Grand Prix will be the last EVER Pontiac I will be buying, nor any GM for that matter, for Pontiac is the only cars I liked in the GM line up, unless they don't kill the GP and continues the car at least as long as the Impala do. Hey, that Stupid, cheap, and idiotic looking Impala lives on, so it is only fair for the Grand Prix to live as well, which is a far superior looking car inside and out that are sportier and looks like a far more car than that Chevy garbage. Enjoy your G6 GXP, it's one of the last remaining, AMERICAN made beauty before GM's non-sense begins next year, turning Pontiac as nothing more than a breathing ground for re-badged Aussie Holden garbage. Aside from the Tiburon look alike rear, the G6 is a really hansome car, and your GXP is a one heck of a beauty.
  21. I would love to see the pic. As a die hard Pontiac fan, I am really interested to see it.
