  1. This is actually rumorred to be Kia's version of Hyundai's Genesis coupe. Well, to me, it's 10X uglier, but oh well.... They are saying this is sportier than the Hyundai, I can't find any reason to call it sexy.
  2. Can't wait. Well, changed my 2nd entry, which will be my final one for the G5.
  3. So, when will this start? I know we may need some more entries, but, I was just wonderring.
  4. Not a bad looking car, though the odd looking headlights I think needs to be replaced. It's unique I know, but it does not look that good to me. Other than that, overall appearance, it looks heck of a lot better than most Japanese cars and Korean cars on the road today.
  5. I know this is an old post, but I had to reply. I wasn't a member here by then. It just angers me of how a dealer can treat a paying customer like a dirt. No, I haven't really treated like that in a dealership, but this is just insane. No matter the excuses, that is NO WAY to treat a valuable customer. As a proud owner of 08 Grand Prix(which I won't change with anything else), I have never experience anything like the story you have wrote. The service department should be thankful for the customers visit to get the job done from them. No matter if it is the free warrantee job or not. If the customer walks in to their service department, he/she is THEIR customer, who MAY even come back regularly for an oil change and other service issues even after the warrantee is up. The reactions taken by that jerk is just UN-Acceptable. Even though he appolized, I would still report him and his dealer to the better business burough(sp?) and make sure him and his facility take a hit. He deserves it. My local Pontiac dealer(Frank's Pontiac/GMC) has NEVER been giving me anything close of the mistreatment, which is what the business should be like. It's a small, family operated dealer, but the guys there are excellent. Whenever I go there for service, they recognize me and welcomes me. Well, my original dealer(DeMassi Pontiac) where I bought my previous 2 Pontiacs moved to a farther location, so I started dealing with these guys, and they were straightforward, and their service was a top-notch. Chasing away the customer just because they didn't buy the car there? Just STUPID. Also, I am not an American born either, I am an Asian American who got naturalized here(hence you may have already guessed by my poor grammer). It's no way to treat a customer. I would report them to the burous(sp?), and if it is possible, take them to court if necessary. They did something that worths for their business to close down.
  6. It looks kind of like a toned down Mahindra Scorpio in looks. The scorpio looked pretty good and DIFFERENT, this one is bit on the uglier side. Kinda look like an early Toyota Pick ups. But I'll say bring them on. Looks like a good looking truck afterall. Best of all, it's DIFFERENT.
  7. I don't like it. But then, I am NEVER an import fan, despite the fact that I am Korean. The styling, though it's just a sketch, is well, Bleh, could be better. Also, do you really think the true truck buyers will buy Korean? when the truck market is saturated with so many strong competition from Detroit and Japan that are worlds better then the inexperienced Koreans.
  8. Can't wait this starts. I already have a favorite to vote for.
  9. OK, I see the difference. It sure looked alike, but upon looking at it the second time, it WAS a bit smaller and a bit different. My bad.
  10. That's actually a G8 isn't it? As for uploading the pic, First upload your pic to any image hosting service of your choice such as photobucket, imageshack, fileden or others, copy the url to the clipboard, and click on the button I have circled in red above and paste that url, then bingo. You have just posted an image. Or, just use the tag and close it with / before it for the ending tag after inserting the url between it.
  11. I have a few as well that are largely forgotten: Buick Bengal Concept: Buick Wildcat Concept: Daewoo Bucrane Concept: Daewoo Joyster Concept: Daewoo Mirae (meaning future in Korean) Concept: Ford Splash Concept: Hyundai HCD 1 Concept: Hyundai HCD 3 Concept: Pontiac Club De Mer Concept Pontiac Salsa Concept: Pontiac Stinger Concept: Pontiac Trans Sport Concept: Ssangyong WZ Concept: Volkswagen Scooter Concept:
  12. http://www.autoblog.com/2008/04/14/bugatti...-for-next-year/ Some of you may know already, but the article is dated today, so I thought I post it here.
  13. I am not in the market for a new car now, since I already got the one I was dreaming about for so long on February, but I recommend the following if I may: Dodge Charger Dodge Challanger(Looked really good at the show) Mercury Sable(Same as Taurus, but I like the Sable's styling better) Since I am no longer a GM fan in terms of the new cars that are comming out now.
  14. I have no idea how to use photoshop to chop, but I will be sure to participate when it comes voting. Looks to be a great car when it comes out.
  15. I hope it's real, for I have my doubts on anything Motor Trend saids. I also feel Solstice is due for some styling updates inside and out as well soon. Or is it just me?
  16. Toaster on wheel(Honda Element) meets the downgraded Jeep Liberty body with the wrinkled Pathfinder back?. Hmmm. I am not sure how successful that is. Yuck, I am sorry, but I don't like it. Never a fan of Honda nor any Asian imports to begin with, and that's saying a lot, for I am Asian myself, but who prefers Domestic million times over anything from overseas, this is actually a reverse design rather than going forward. My younger sister's 2006(I think, the first model) Pilot looks worlds better than this grotesque piece of crap. I do think it will still sell since it IS afterall, made by one of the most popular brand. This tells a lot. If you were not going to rip off other designs and make your own unique design, it has to be done right, otherwise, it will result in a disaster like this...... To me, I think the highly derivative new Borrego SUV from Kia looks even better than this non-sense. R.I.P. Honda. (Well, I hope, Sorry Honda fans) Also, for those of you chewing down Aztek, I don't think it's a bad looking car at all. It is far, far superior than the non-sense like Honda Element, Scion xD, Daewoo Rezzo, even Rav4(I am sorry Rav4 fans, but I personally think Rav4 is 1000 times uglier than the Aztek) and so many craps that are nothing more than a sorry excuse as a new set of wheels.
  17. I heard the rumor that the base Genesis will start somewhere around 29K, while Azera starts at about 26K, so I guess they are not killing off that dreadful Azera afterall.
  18. Um, will there be any more entries? and will this ever start?
  19. Sorry if this has already been posted. It's an old news now I know.
  20. I saw one too at the NY Show, where they only brought one car for the turning display. I honestly don't like it. It's just too much of a copy, lacks any personality of its own.
  21. This is the very first ad that is on the May 2008 issue of Car and Driver. It's really nothing special or fansy, but a usual Hyundai ad, but.... Also, the magazine has this, Hyundai did a public taste test(?), and came out with the grill winner.
  22. Changed the second entry with the newer pic, though not any better.
  23. Well, I still believe Koreans have far more way to go to catch up. They are close, but just aren't there yet to be the equal quality of the Japanese. Just look at their horrible, horrible, resale value. They Suck.
  24. I would give them a chance. For example, look at Hyundai's and Kia's. They were just as bad say, 10 years ago and considerred a trash everywhere they go, yet they gradually improved as competition grew more fierce, and when they realized they can't follow along with the craps they had and decided to put more attention to the quality of their products. Thanx to that, their quality have gradually improved and while they still have a way to go to be considerred at a Japanese level, not many people laughs at the ones who bought them. At least, no more. Pretty amazing since about 5 or 10 years ago, Hyundai's were talk show's favorite laughing stock and considerred the WORST ever made. I would give the Chinese, Indian, and even Malaysian a chance, for it is obvious that they will eventually catch up and before we know it, they will be a threat, not just to the Japanese, but to the big 3 as well. Just look at China's resource, and the labor(one of the most populated nation in the world) so they can produce a LOT at a VERY LOW price and I think they will improve in no time.
  25. It seems like I did better than I expected. I highly doubted anyone would vote for my crappy drawings, but it did. Thanx. oh, and congrats.
