Focusing on where growth is is the smart thing to do. If VW Group falls less than GM and Toyota globally during the downturn, they'll be in a better position to gain share whenever the economy picks up.

I remeber that. I'm still not laughing at the plan, even though doubts persist. Essentially about how the industry will look like in 5 or 10 years. I'll say angain that a lot of things can change in a very short period of time.

Yes, finally the Cadillac I've been waiting for! This and the cancelation of the 2.9L diesel V6 (according to www.saabsunited.com) will surely win Cadillac tons of sales outside of the US, especially in Europe!

Agreed on the differentiation. I was wondering about this being the Astra Sedan or something else... and your Brazil comment is interesting too: would that be the Vectra, or would the Insignia go there as a new Vectra? I think I saw a Chevy-badged Insignia with the Vectra name in a pic of some car show in Brazil, but I don't have a link to that on my Favorites anymore...
