I think the main difference is in the height of the front end. The 8C is much lower and ends up looking much sleeker. The 147 replacement will have a front end similar to the MiTo, but it will ride on the Bravo's platform. Hopefully with the Bravo's wheelbase and not the Delta's. If Saab dies, some kind of Alfa could be waiting for me

Still in the subject of Italian cars, what do you all think of the Alfa-Romeo MiTo? It's a car I'd think about when the time to replace the MINI comes...

  12. Unless that letter 'D' was photoshopped, the car has German plates. If the plates start with GG, then 99% sure it's from GM.

  14. They could be testing for a higher definition version of the website or, like Satty posted, they're tracking down terrorist camels.
  15. Aston Martin is looking at ways to reintroduce the Lagonda namplate, possibly as a brand. They went the SUV/CUV route as a way to separate Lagonda from Astons which are 2 and (soon) 4 door GTs. Now all they need is to do is design something elegant and timeless instead of a brick.
  16. If Saab can find a new owner and deliver a small car, that'll be my 1st choice... but the way things are shaping up I'll probably stick with MINI...

Let's see how much gas guzzlers' sales will have grown at the end of '09. I might be wrong, but I firmly believe the shift towards smaller cars in the US is a permanent one.
  21. This one? This one is called 'bacalhau con natas'. It's made with codfish, potatoes and 'cream' = 'natas'. EDIT - I'd lose the coke and go for a nice wine instead.
  22. That's Portuguese hospitality for you :AH-HA_wink: Response to thread: bluetooth

  24. ENFJ And I'm not in bad company! Bill Clinton, Tony Blair, Clara Barton (Founder of the American Red Cross), Ronald Reagan are famous people of my particular type. Happy to see Presidents Clinton and Reagan there.
