  3. I did not explain myself clear enough, sorry. I meant to say that, if needed be, GM should get that design into production in a RWD platform instead of as a hybrid E-Flex model.
  4. My prediction is that the ball will not be round
  5. So now GM aims to sell 2 cars per year in Japan?
  6. Like a Virgin Coming from her that song probably should have been called Not-That-Much-Like-a-Virgin
  7. Rolling On the Floor Laughing My Ass Off, i.e., :rotflmao: EDIT - What edition of Google is that?
  8. Push the front wheels forward and do it on a RWD architecture, then... even if it has to go the expensive way and use a chopped Sigma...

  16. Since Saab might be going to Hell, and I was waiting for the 9-1, I have no freaking clue what I'll buy as my next vehicle...
  17. It's so ridiculous it becomes funny... couldn't they have given him a G8? At least t would be related to the car he named....

  19. Exactly, as flexible as technically and economically possible. The big and important issue is that GM is so desperate for cash that such a platform seems to be very far out into the future. In the meantime, maybe Sigma can be updated with lighter weight materials...
  20. It's very, very sad to see GM in a position where a higher margin application of E-Flex (I effin hate that Voltec name they came up with) as a Cadillac model is dependant on a government loan/approval.........
  21. Lutz's talk tells me that whatever GM ends up developing as a RWD architecture is not finalized in terms of overall concept, so engineering and testing seem to be very far away into the future... IMHO GM's RWD post-Sigma and post-Zeta efforts should be a RWD/AWD modular platform, similar in concept to what Audi came up with: Audi's modular platform will reportedly underpin everyhting from the A4 up to the A8.
  22. I believe that it is based on the Cruze's architeture: Global Compact Car Architecture, a.k.a. Delta2
