  1. I was deeply moved by Randy Pausch's strength and attitude in adversity. He will be remembered and will forever be a part of all of us that paid attention to his example. RIP
  2. I'm assuming you mean the W427 :AH-HA_wink: HSV body kits tend to be a little too excessive for my taste (don't really like the dark grille on the W427), but offering the Z06 engine in a sedan package is a blessing for enthusiasts with families!
  3. I'm actually excited about this album, especially hearing their cover of Iron Maiden's 'Remember Tomorrow'. On those subject of those Iron Maiden covers I also fell for the Machine Head cover of 'Hallowed Be Thy Name'. Really cool!

  6. AFAIK the R&D spending cuts are essentially directed at NA-developed trucks and SUVs.
  7. I agree, now let's see if GM has the right mindset to make it work.

  9. Well, GM hasn't figured out how to resahpe its brand structur in NA, that's for sure. And unlike what most people here think, tiny Saab isn't the real problem. The problem is having a brand aspiring to having bigger volume (Opel/Saturn) fighting with two other brands that are struggling (Pontiac and Buick), with all 3 brands wishing they can occupy the same space above Chevrolet. Also, a big part of the problem is Cadillac not being able to move upmarket fast enough to give those 'lesser' brands some breathing room. Re the Insignia/Aura thing, maybe Saturn could have everything smaller than EpII and leave that to Buick, but there are a lot of different options to consider at this point. I think GM is delaying the Aura to consider all of those options, including the starving of one or more brands.
  10. I hope you get well soon, Dave. And I hope they get the bastard that did that to you.
  11. Any stuff you'd recommend from those guys that I can find on the web? I've been wanting to check out what they do for a long time.
  12. Yep. I think I have a Chevrolet Alero brochure somewhere. That car came to Europe with the Olds logo but with the block-letter Chevrolet name.
  13. I agree! I'd keep the 9-5 sedan and wagon on a SWB EpII and I'd make the NG 9-3 on DeltaII offering a couple of hatches, a sedan and a wagon. A model on Gamma would only make sense as a true MINI competitor (I mean size- and content-wise as well as price) IMHO.

  15. It wasnt race-centric, hence the sarcasm mode off comment at the end. I just find it extremely amusing that a Korean had such a role in bringing back the Camaro when on these forums most people automatically see anything out of Korea (car-wise) to be a POS.
  16. I disagree. I think the Insigna's content/equipment would position it closer to the LaCrosse. I think GM is scared that the Insignia would hurt LaCrosse sales.
  17. OMG the new Camaro is a Korean-designed POS! :rotflmao: Sarcasm mode off
  18. OK: It's fugly!!! Couldn't they make something functional yet elegant for a President's limo? Presidents deserve style too
  19. People don't really regret St. Angry as they're eagerly awaiting the sequel, Rev. Furious I'm glad you are back in school. Good thing! :AH-HA_wink: I knew you'd reply that, hehe

  21. Best sentence ever about what makes any Democracy work (or fail).
  22. So... what's your biggest regret? The ones that are 'shareable' (I think I made up a new word, lol) Mine is confiding something private to someone that was not trustworthy and later used what I had said to hurt someone else.
