I know :AH-HA_wink: But I feel the tone here has shifted towards hating GME, and all of that just because GM is reassessing how to provide RWD vehicles in NA. I think it's unfair to the people who work at GME.

My guess is the 4.7L V8 is one of the GenV engine that appeared on the UAW memo: 5 OHV engines and one 6.2L DOHC if memory serves me.

Yes, but one has to balance fuel economy, performance, and cost. Maybe the conclusion is V6s with all that tech can deliver better balance between those 3 factors.
