I think the fuel economy issue is not RWD vs FWD in general as some of you are reading it. I think it's Zeta vs EpII (or whatever other FWD options GM has with regard to the NG Impala).

Yay no FWD at Grand River!! Seriously now, I hope that even if the Zeta Lucerne/Park Avenue gets canned, the DTS/DT7 still has a business case going for it... EDIT - if Trollhättan gets the Astra, will it get a Saab 9-1 too?

Happy 500th post! IIRC the TTid will get XWD later this year. That will hurt mileage but it will make the car driveable at insane speeds in not-so-good weather

I thought you meant 'right' as in opposed to 'wrong', with the UK being wrong of course EDIT - I didn't know all those countries that drive on the left side of the road vote Democrat -

It would have to be extremely focused If you look at the Mexico and Canada lineups (read G2 and G3 here), it gets scary bc those are straight Chevy rebadges. GMNA supplying GMAP is an interesting idea.
