  3. In principle I agree with you: it isn't insane if they pay for themselves, but it depends on how that happens (on a nominal dollar basis, or considering for the cost of the capital invested). I just find it interesting that GM would have a dedicated platform for such inexpensive, low volume models when everyone else is in this huge race to increase platform/component commonality... I'm not an enginner so don't really know if it's too small. Maybe cutting it or designing a modular platform could be the answer. At the end of the day it does come down to a cost/benefit analysis.
  4. I wonder why That RWD G5 idea is interesting. I'd like to see a RWD range to take care of what today are the G5 and G6. Sorta like having a NG RWD G6 that is between present day G5 and G6 sizewise and then have a larger RWD car on Zeta, the G8. Add multiple body styles to each range and you'd have a nice lineup of RWD cars :AH-HA_wink:
  5. Will they keep them on Kappa, then? I see no reason for Kappa / Kappa II if it serves these roadsters only. Also, having 3 RWD platforms (4 counting the the Corvette/XLR) is insane... :P :P
  6. i'm speechless...
  7. Watching 'Everybody Loves Raymond'
  8. I think it's a case of GM-old-school-stupidity, actually. I guess some things will never change, not even with 1000 Lutzes working at GM... :AH-HA_wink:
  9. 8.2 litres... that must be a beast!
  10. The smaller model that is rumoured to be sold in the US.I wouldn't like to see an Alpha Buick. The Alpha cars belong to Pontiac, Cadillac and PCS's favourite brand, Holden EDIT - I forgot Opel/Vauxhall/Saturn: the Sky/GT will eventually need to be replaced.

  12. I hope this helps Cadillac gain some visibility with consumers.

Chevy-Saturn-Cadillac would be interesting. I'd be willing to sell my donkey and olive cart to buy GM stock if they did that
  23. People's doubt about its origin? What does that mean?
  24. Lovely interior! That's what a sports car interior should look like!
