  2. I just browsed through the release to see if there's any info re incentives and average selling prices (didn't find it), but unless incentives in retail sales have skyrocketed, the move towards more retail and less fleet sales will be felt in the top line, somehow dampening the impact of lower fleet sales revenue. GM seems to be trying hard to improve the quality of sales instead of relying solely on volume. There is still the potential issue of underused capacity due to lower production volumes (fixed costs spread over a lower production volume = more fixed cost per car), but we'll have to wait a few months more for the Q2 earnings release to see what the impact is in the bottom line and more importantly in cash flow.

  5. Maybe if/when I start a family 'need' will be considered. Right now it's no 'need' and all 'want'.

Good premises to build on!I hope roadsters can be part of the program as well (NG Solstice), although I'd like to see a closed NG Opel GT. Re the V6 idea as well: IMO a RWD Cadillac BLS will need at least one V6 option, and if the V6 availability can be built into the architecture without development costs getting out of hand, then go fo it. EDIT - Could this Alpha offer an AWD option as well?...

  10. If Hyundai holds the price increase to a reasonable amount, why buy a G6 2-door?

Too bad it's based in Michigan, which is West from Portugal. I'm pointing Northeast from Portugal... I wish you the best in finding the right person for the position.
  12. How much longer until the new 9-5 arrives? I want to see a new Snabb (= 'fast'/'quick' in Swedish)

  15. A darker red would be welcome. And I still can't understand why the export 2.8L V6 isn't getting DI. But I love the car's design, both inside and outside
  16. I think that means I can take that 'no' as a 'yes': black CTS it is
  17. Thanks! What about interaction with the other softwares: are there benefits (power/torque, fuel efficiency, even smoothness of operation) in integrating this feature with engine and transmission softwares?

  22. Thanks for the other guy's replies (even the Chrysler&'high-tech' comment - I admit I LOLed) but this got me interested: Can you share how that works for the layman like me?
  23. They used old plastic on the steering wheel: that's why it's wrinkled
  24. I know: I was just crossing your '500hp+' post with Lutz's 'unexpected power' comment and doing some speculating. I'm thinking GM will not pass on the opportunity to outpower the M5 and M6 with both the CTS-V and the Blue Devil.
