Hey YellowJacket894
Well, I added you earlier today, PCS, so we will chat sometime soon, perhaps, pending that you accepted the request. (Good idea about not using your actual e-mail address for MSN, by the way. I don't either. In fact, the e-mail address I use for MSN has been dead for a little while now.)

Apologetic
Like I said in another thread, it just never seems to get any better around here ... even when apologies are issued.

Chrysler Sebring Cabriolet 2.7 V6
Criticism is given where criticism is deserved. At least I can say that Chrysler does build cars that are appealing to me in the LX models. (That's one more car than I get from GM, by the way.) However, most of Chrysler's other offerings are enough to make my eyes bleed. +1

Automotive News: Pontiac future products
Oh, but they look so pretty.

recent pictures around here
That's a mighty fine Cutlass. That shade of gold appears to be close to the color my car used to be.

Ya Know...
Am I going to vote for the Douche or the Turd Sandwich? Hmmm ... I still can't decide.

Chrysler Sebring Cabriolet 2.7 V6
I can agree to that. I can also agree that Clarkson's verdict on a lot of modern, recent American cars is somewhat correct, and especially true of American cars made during the 1980s and 1990s. I've agreed with his "disposable standard" comment in a GM-related rant a long time ago.

Hey YellowJacket894
My question to you went far beyond what this thread was about. :AH-HA_wink: But that's fine. That's the answer I was pretty much expecting anyway.

2010 Chevy Camaro standard and optional equipment list revealed
I'm still wanting to buy one, I'm just not sure when. I just know that the hype will have died down if I finally do get one and I'll manage to avoid the dreaded MAPs.

Take that, Prius!
Well, yeah, the most fuel efficient cars out there available are compact sedans with small diesels. Europe has had them for years and anyone familiar with the global car market would have already known that years ago.

Hey YellowJacket894
It never seems to get any better around here, does it? What is in your heart, PCS? My inquiring mind would like to hear the answer to that question come straight from the horse's mouth. You don't have to answer that on here if you don't want. If you should actually want to give me an honest answer to that, I have an MSN account that you can use to get in contact with me. You'll find the e-mail address needed to add me in my profile here. Not that I'm expecting an answer at all, or anything, and not that I really care. But it would be nice to know, you know?

Bill Burr the comedian is running for president?

Hey YellowJacket894
Well, then I do apologize for being overly defensive in my response, PCS.

Hey YellowJacket894
Sorry to throw a wrench in the gears of your mighty apparatus, but I'm postponing my purchase until further notice. Go ahead, have your party, say I told you so, ask me if my waffles are warm enough, gloat, gloat, gloat, dance your victory dance, I couldn't care less. I've made a much, much more sound purchase in my Cutlass and I'm happy with not having a four-hundred dollar monthly payment on my back just before applying for college loans.

Hey 68
Uh, I'm just going to watch this thread from a distance ...

Next-gen Astra?
Exactly. What's really sad is that people outside of GM, most of the average enthusiasts and loyalists of the automaker, most of the well-educated critics, and most of the arm chair CEOs, actually "get it," actually understand what GM should be doing, and would be in a better mindset to lay down some framework to actually getting each and every end of the company to work a little closer to the way they should while the actual people in charge of GM are always constantly scrambling to, as the saying goes, get their $h! together. It never fails to disgust me anymore. Where are the John Z. DeLorians at GM? Where are the Zora Arkus-Duntovs at GM? Bob Lutz isn't enough to instill the change needed at General Motors, there needs to be way more creative executives working at America's largest automaker to actually get the wheels going again, and they need to have some experience outside of GM (read: cut down the number of "lifers"). The company is nowhere near undergoing the "awakening" it needs to return to greatness again. I hate to say it, but if GM goes under due to the stupidity of its management, then that's what deserves to happen to the company. I don't have much pity for stupidity, and I'm not going to let my favorite automaker be an exception to that personal rule of mine, sorry.

+1 There really isn't anyone I would like to vote for in this election. Neither candidate or party presents a clear advantage over the other one. There isn't much of a "lesser of two evils" in this election anymore either.

Paging Ocnblu
I'd post a pic of my car for the purpose of this thread, but I nowhere consider the paint to be presentable as a standard for anyone to use. It looks quite bad in person.

I dont like your ringtone
You know, I have Motorola Phone Tools and rarely ever use them anymore. Maybe it's time I go back to making new ringtones again. EDIT: And charging two bucks a pop for everyone who wants me to Bluetooth them a copy.

GM and Chrysler are in Merger talks!
Wow, there's so much hate against Chrysler in here I can almost cut it with a knife.

GM and Chrysler are in Merger talks!
Next time you have a thought, any thought at all, just do us all a favor and let it go. That little statement just made your whole argument invalid. Bravo.
