GM @ Beijing '08: 2009 Buick Excelle Preview
I particularly liked this take on the T-Body from Vauxhall: I am not the biggest fan of many compact cars. But those traits I have mentioned here would make a potential buyer out of me. I could only imagine what the driving experience of such a car would be like if it was executed correctly. I think such an idea is perfect for Pontiac, to build a smaller poor man's 1-Series that follows that car's mission of being the modern 2002 a little more closer. No, such an idea is not new, but it is an idea with merit. True, packaging does become an issue with such a car, sadly. But, really, there are a lot of front-drive cars that do not take full advantage of their packaging advantages and then you wind up with redundant anomalies like an exhaust hump eating away floor space in the rear footwell of the car, where a front-drive car is supposed to present such an advantage over a rear-drive car.

A rear-drive compact car in coupe, sedan, hatch, and wagon configurations with a manual transmission for less than nineteen-thousand geezels in change? Sounds pretty interesting to me! But I wonder, who would have the almighty balls to do it?

You know, I believe if more compact cars here in the United States offered premium features such a navigation and other amenities that you would find in cars from larger segements as options, it could help to break down the "compact cars are cheap" stigma that you find here.

CanadianDriver drives the 2009 TSX
Actually, I like some of the graphics (no I do not mean decals, Virginia) on recent Hondas and Acuras. It is the proportions of their cars that offend me the worst.

My, how I do love to hear stories about BMW cars. As far as sightings of my own go, I saw about a '79 to '80 C3 Corvette in Richmond today and a really striking black Malibu LTZ. I do wish I could have another prototype sighting. My most recent ones were of a camouflaged Mustang on the back of a flatbed truck about a year and a half ago (as it turns out, it was a GT500 mule; I had photos on my old computer which is now long gone) and a Colorado with a makeshift rollbar on the back of a flatbed truck with camo about nine months ago, all on I-75.

Another tip would to be to use smaller clicks when using the PLT so you will get a more precise outline.

Hmm ... I am not totally sure if the same rule applies to PS 7.0 just yet, but I know in Elements you could hit CTRL then either Shift or ALT and add to your selection using the polygonal lasso tool.

5.4 earthquake in southern Illinois
At around 5:45 a.m. this morning, before I had to head out to Lexington for my Dad's hernia surgery, I heard the windows and felt the floor shake quite vigorously. :rotflmao:

Future Small RWD Caddy?
No, actually. Cadillac turning into an Acura fighter would not be for the best interest of the brand.

My problem with the headlamps would be how they meet with the cutline of the hood after you see that particular panel gap run uninterrupted for the entire length of the central section of the front fascia. (This sort of "pie cut" hood was executed correctly on the Malibu as the cutline did not touch any design element of the fascia on that car, and left them uninterrupted, which is one of the main underlying reasons why you attempt such a design element in the first place.) The lighting elements are pretty interesting, however.

Testimony: Some in polygamist sect may have had kids at 13
This is horribly sick in every way imaginable. And you cannot really say anything other than such. I hope no one will be offended when I say this, but the institution of some religions can be as vile as the sin it denounces. Sometimes much worse.

Oh FlyBrian where art thou?
Ah, there is the same risk with buying a car from an ad in an Auto Trader magazine, so I am fine with the risks. Hmm ... I believe I will look for a first-generation Monte for my dad there as soon as I have a free moment.
