>>>> The Slovakian Terror
Yup... it was a good time had by all. Xcept for the dude with the small d!ck driving the Honda. He had a head on collision with a 2-foot thick block of concrete after I used some nasty mega under steer to push him into the wall. I have it on tape! While I have not seen the Shadow's carpet & door panels off to inspect the oxidation damage I can hazard an educated guess based on what I have seen. All those nasty holes/rips in the Escort's wheel wells & in the rocker panels was not evident until I kicked the slightly bubbled paint with my combat boot to inspect just how bad of a rot box I was dealing with.

GM may kill another brand , did anybody say Pontiac? Also delays GMT 900 replacements.
Wow... the sky sure is falling according to most here. If Pontiac is hurt by this in any way than GM should be up for the darwin awards in a few years. Cut SAAB, Saturn or Hummer IF you have to cut a brand... they're all useless in the current market. (as in all or their names/histories have little value and their entire product line can be shifted/cut)

It was bound to happen: K Car Club springs up
I sure hope the Buicks were getting as much, if not more attention & love.

The Italo-American Connection:
True, no direct comparison is made, but I'm commenting on the article's general stance of: "lookit at what great fore-wheeled beau-tee the Itah-luns made on this big cumbersome American frame" Different strokes for different folks.

2010 Maxima Diesel may be manual-only
corrected. Seriously, I'm reading your posts but all I hear is "ooooowww... my v4gina hurts" Clutchin' in gridlock is what separates the MEN from the BOYS!

Yey.... the car hobby has sunk to yet another NEW low. And I bet this still is not rock bottom. Some dweeb is prob. organizing a car club RIGHT NOW for Hyundai Scoupes.

The Italo-American Connection:
INdeed as Balthy said Pininfarina did NOT introduce/invent the bubble-top hardtop and certainly does not do anything to promote or reintroduce it. Every single Ferrari ever made has either had no roof, an ugly canvas drophead and/or B-pillars. I'm not sure what disgusts me more... the complete, blatant & shocking exclusion of the "Tiger Hunt" V16 Cadillac story if not photos or the comparison of a 452 cu. in. OHV V16 powered Cadillac boattail speedster 4dr to the piece of garbage, 1980s ubber-tacky, FWD, Alante! The Alante is one of the most over rated GM cars ever. I'd gladly crush every single Alante ever made to save just ONE 1960s Cadillac hardtop.... and even possibly some cheesy '70s ratttle-can special like my Banana.

50 White Cars
I was being sarcastic... people on this forum have used similar logic.

>>>> The Slovakian Terror
Well I feel like a big loser for still not posting my 1959 Buick LeSabre two-door post sedan, or the "Banana Boat" 1977 Cadillac Coupe deVille in this sub-forum. Both of these old GMs are, in different ways, project cars of mine. The Buick was used as a daily driver for 7000 miles last summer, and is now receiving some over-due TLC. The 49 year old 364 cubic inch V8 is half appart. The Banana on the other hand is my current daily driver, a 4500lbs. "coupe" powered by a seven liter pushrod Cadillac block. 13 mpg is about all I'm getting since I drive it like I stole it. Not very condusive to $4.15/ gallon gasoline prices, esp. since I drive much more than the average person. Well, those two T1GH+ WH!P$ will get their own writeups but for now I present to you: "The Slovakian Terror" 1993 Ford Escort 4 door hatchback. 1.9 liter, 5-speed - Obtained free from a local used car dealer/wholesaler - Approx 130,000 miles, interior mint - Gutted/de-windowed/race prepped in one afternoon - A few $ spent at the local hardware store for chains & fluids - Liberal amounts of fun with a sawzall & torch I raced it back in June 2005 in the Star Speedway "Demolition Debystyle "Free For All" Enduro Races. Blown clutch & flex plate put it out of the race but not before I used the Escort's relatively excessive weight to push a Honda Civic hatchback into the concrete wall at about 40mph. A nice, clean, confirmed KILL! P.S. for the record HE pushed me about three times & kept harrasing me, I got confirmation of his car's descript/# from my buddy in the stands through my 2-way radio and went for this throat. And THAT is what makes this little $hitbox Ford an official, bonafide T!G#T WH1P$ car club member & wins it a Rusty Jones Lifetime Achivement Award. Now I'm going to let the photos do the talking.

It's NEW new car time...perhaps
Oh man, I'd rock that '93-'94 Cadillac F.B. Funeral Coach in a heartbeat!

As you know I travel a great deal, so imagine my bewilderment, as I look at this map!
Typical. This is why the rest of the world thinks we're a bunch of retards who have trouble discerning France and Russia on a four-color map.

Driving a Datsun today...
Sooo, Fly.... great, Datsun, dealer plates.... wow. Seriously the $40,000 question is: what the heck happened to make you stay away for so long? And with no precedent?

CONCEPT: Toyota FT-MV
Dear God I hope not... but if it DOES I hope Honda makes an odyssey with a heart shaped rear window. The fact that they use '60s hippie & van culture images coupled with Heart's "Barracuda" disgusts me.
-
CONCEPT: Toyota FT-MV
Oh don;t worry... it will be uglier still and it will sell like crack in the hood.

Toyota denies Tacoma is defective
I'll gladly drive my Roadmonser into the side of the building next to my wife's work... its the HQ for Toyota Financial America/North East. Now who has bail money?

New Mercedes CLK Spyshots
Now THAT is my why Germans kick @$$! (the ones who are not busy working on Mercedes coupes, not FWD junkboxes) It's covered in 200 lbs. of camouflage, sooooo I'm pretty sure you're not seeing much of anything , esp. the shape of the headlights.

IMAJ
We need a modern day bustleback. I mean a lot less subtle than this, like a REAL bustleback.

Don't touch that dip stick!
Ten-K is about twice what it should be regardless of oil type/visual inspection. Any car driven on the street with a paper/K&N air filter is geing to pick up a LOT of dust/particles/dirt over the course of 10,000 miles. Acid buildup and sludge do NOT sleep.

Is This Going on in Your Area?
Nice job comparing apples to oranges again. or, more like apples to starfruit.

Want to beat high gas prices?
Back when XP715 owned the Banana he had true duals installed... and he checked the box on the order sheet for the "CATALITIC CONVERTER DELETE" option. My '92 Roadmaster's catalitic converter will ALSO be recycled soon, as I will have to do some exhaust work.
-
Don't touch that dip stick!
Holy $#it, I felt a bit like a redneck scumbag admiting the Roadmaster had gone as long as it has, but 10,000 on a modern, almost new car? So much for protecting your investment.

Cadillac Wreath & Crest
Vertical Vs are where its at! The 1930s emblems are gorgeous but I've often said IF I ever get a tatoo it will be a combo of the '30s narrow angle V emblem and the vertical wings in the style of the '70/'80s tail light decor. Dude, have you LOOKED at my Avatar like ...ever?

Good. Time for 'Mericans to stop being such clutch-phobic pu$$ys.
