  1. I've got NO problem with the STS' interior. I like it actually. Anything that's modern and NOT trimmed in stainless steel with gorgeous metallic thread & loads of brightwork is a disappointing interior to me after my '64 Super88. That having been said I'd rather have a ultra-low-milage 1996 Fleetwood Brougham, cherry/tan, or a beat up & worn 1961 Sedan DeVille with lifter noise than a brand new STS, price being no object. Although the '61 would set me back a meere $3000 - $8000 and the 96 FB a paltry $20,000.
  2. Agreed CIRE, there's no excuse for Pontiac's semi-mediocre lineup. FOUR DOOR 2+2 KAPPA SEDAN! I've been tooting that horn for two years now. Wake the #@*^ up GM!
  3. I'm so sorry.... did she die of natural causes?
  4. Love that flatblack Eldo. with the scalops! Eh... not very excited about the Zebra-zeta 2dr post but I'll take that red '67 Firebird ragtop. Those prototype headlights are UUUUGLEEEEEE!!!!
  5. Back in the day my parent's '93 Achieva S 4dr became my second car. Mine was car No. 2, after the '94 Sunbird 2dr., it was that lighter blue, more aqua-sky-blue kind of shade. I didn't get rid of it till the day I bought my '68 Camaro.... mine had the craptastic 115 hp Quadfour. Two reasons why Ill never probably own another: 1. FWD (duh!?) 2. Door mounted seat belts. Anyway congrats, enjoy your new (to you) N-body. Just think of it as a Grand Am Brougham d'Elegance. And with the price of ga$ these days she'll do well. Should get about 3.47 imperial gallons of kerosene per one hundred French Canadian Kilometers. P.S. is that Crown Royal in the storage bin under the center stack? Drinking & driving is BAD!
  6. A used K-egg would be sick! But as far as the S5 it's quite a car, so long as you don;t despise fat, ugly B-pillars & glued in rear side windows like on a $15,000 Kia hatchback. Personally I'd rather spend that kind of money on a classic car, esp. with the recent dip in muscle car prices.
  7. More than a few subtle Camaro concept touches. Not bad for a modern "transformer puke" 100% plastic interior.
  8. CAlling it anything other than a Chevrolet Camaro would be idiotic. Selling it in Europe & other parts of the world? WHY NOT? Ask some European millionare who daily drives a Chrysler Viper & has a warehouse full of 60s Musclecars and I'm sure he;ll be for it.
  9. Camino: Fantastic idea. Capriceman: You Sir., are a TRUE red-blooded American! If there's one thing that is an absolute truth it's that without the right to bear arms we'd have probably lost the other rights we take for granted. If I'm ever Prez. (never-gonna-happen.com) I will give a tax break to anyone who carries/collects firearms!

  11. I know I know... ....CTS, Corvette/Z06/ZR1, BMw M5s etc. That having been said however GM is shooting itself in the foot again BIG TIME!!!! This RWD for the masses thing has been going on since 1987. I'm disgusted with the crap we are told is new & exciting.
  12. Tempting. And there's no B-pillars I personally love it. The nose of the B-59 is the main attraction for me, I think the Chevy rear end would be livable, I see Balthazar's point but it would not turn me off to the car enough to not buy this if it was cheap enough. For Camino: XP: Remember that '62 Cadillac "hand made" flower car up at GoldenRod garage? We looked it over in that nasty rainstorm and determined it was def. built buy a guy with overalls & a jerky-cabinet, using leftover parts from an early 60s Oldsmobile wagon, like the tailgate that turned into the cab/bed divider.
  13. Happy Birthday. Now get the sand out of your bathing suit and go tell GM-E you guys need to get some serious RWD product all up in there.
  14. Nothing, not even b-pillars or automatic transmission only cars suck as much as FWD. FWD is like a plague, a nasty, dirty infection that spreads and it MUST be cut out of the non-$h!box end of the market.
  15. Low profile? As in so very low profile people do not know you exist and therefore you make no profit. Very true...
  16. Saddly there is some truth to that. That was not the case back in the chrome beak days.
  17. I made a custom sticker for the back window on the Banana. It says: YOUR HONDA IS MY CRUMPLE ZONE
  18. Tip No. 42917 You should probably NOT have ONE long run on sentence for your listing. http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/car/700365750.html Explain: http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/rvs/706697030.html
  19. A Toyota Nomad? http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/car/706859562.html

  21. Yup... inline sixes + RWD are so cool even I can not totally hate the Supra/GS/IS Like most Toyotas they sell for 130-250% what they should.
  22. Alpha, Zeta... either way it would be awesome. A new RWD Buick by any other name will smell as sweet.
  23. PSC: How can you be so damn happy with GM's stupidity and the death of worthy product? You're like the parent that laughs when their kid breaks a leg!
