Well, that's not saying it's a bad modern car, I'm pretty sure ten years from now if you have a list of 47 cars you've owned including a 1968 Camaro with 337 horsepower, 455 powered 1976 Buick 4dr hardtop, 1964 Olds Super 88 Holiday, 1959 Buick with neailhead power and that's just scratching the surface.... you might say the Achieva was just the start of your life long affair with GM cars/trucks. And besides, I'd rather have the Achieva back than a few of my demolition derby Fords including a RWD Granada. Some Olds nerd on here can tell you the exact name of your shade.

Happy Birthday!

Hahhahaahaha, I KNEW you posted that alliterative title just for fun!

The back of the B-59s in general is wicked cool, and also a slight let down after the incredibly awesome ANGRY nose. If I ever get a very rusty but restoration-worthy B-59 I think I might make a clone/slight variation of this concept: (notice 3rd tail fin extends through glass into the parcel shelf) C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\My Pictures\1959___BUICK_TripleWing_clay_mockup_1.jpg ]

Sent this guy a polite email saying pretty much "uhhh... dude, you've got a 2dr sedan, NOT a hardtop" http://nh.craigslist.org/car/672847140.html

Ita the Challenger that may have only a shortlived resurection, the Camaro will do well.

Sad. How very sad. Kind of like a J-body "redesign".... just add a few trim pieces aaaaaaaand, good to go!

Yup... Japanese Domestic Market Toyotas run on Bukkake.

I've been in the net before, one time without a cup. That ended in disaster.

'72 Camaro for $950 is a good deal all day long so long as the body & subframe are solid. Paint, interior, motor, trans.... those can always be fixed/replaced.

Stop makin' that face Junior! You know you'd hit it! (by "it" I mean the 1957 version of her you see, not the 2008 version that having tea with your gam-gam at the local senior center)

I'd love to get a used GTO!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $15,000 for a '70 GTO with the Judge decals & wing? http://nh.craigslist.org/car/698640082.html

I was not yet alive (saddly) in the early 1970s, so I did not see Bobby Orr sail through the air like a hockey stick tottin' B17. I've never been into any sport much other than HOCKEY. It's the coolest sport in the world and I will fist fight you about that if you eve try to f**kin argue. :AH-HA_wink: Fastest paced, best developed, most intense, non-stop, STFU & stop your baby-crying its just a broken wrist you've got a spare game on the planet. I've been a Bruins fan since we came to the USA in 1987 & I'd just love to see Boston take home the cup someday in my lifetime! As much as I like to watch prof. Hockey, playing it is WAY more fun. 99% of my injuries, premature arthritis-like symptoms, chipped/bruised bones and blatant scars are from playing roller-hockey back in high school. Man if I had spent just 20% of the time I spent in the '90s playing hockey on my nasty-sick custom roller blades restoring a '69 Camaro instead I'd have a ZL1 clone right now!

Why would you want a skunk in your intake? http://hartford.craigslist.org/pts/708079388.html

NASCAR is a joke. It was cool up until 1970 when they decided that Mopars were kickin too much ass and some drastic changes had to happen. NASCAR stoped being relevant in the late 1980s. Its called a stock car, and yet it's a RWD V8 tube chassis race car that has a fiberglass body with the emblem of a FWD, unibody, transverse mounted V6 powered car with FOUR doors? WTFingF!?!?! Oval racing is always a letdown but at least up until the 1960s the STOCK cars were really based on a factory built chassis. The sec. you take away the 348 big blocks, pontiac widetrack, mystery motors, bias ply tires, REAL hemispherical-head V8 mopars & the human element you have nothing but another corporate whore-fest. You know what's pathetic? XP and myself both work for two different companies that are the main sponsors on a freekin fiberglass Camry ASS-car.

LOL, the KY state. Lubricated for your pleasure. You know the tooth brush was invented in Kentucky, right? Think about it, if it had been invented in any of the other 49 it would be called a TEETH-brush. HAHHHAHhhrhrhhrah!

Oh, and the Achieva is one of a few cars I've owned that I do not have a scanned/digital photo of. I'll have to do so for ya, if you're curious. I had a '93 S model sedan in THIS EXACT (semi-rare) blue: You never see this color anymore, not the violety-blue, or the darker royal blue, or the teal-moss blue gray... but THIS exact medium blue. And as luck would have it mine had the peelig issue on the roof, onoly started after 110K miles or sothough. but with these 14" alloy rims, "square phone dials" I liked to call 'em. and the same black/chrome beltline trim

oil leak from intake manifold?

O.B. you're a class clown! Nothing pisses me off more than when someone is trying to tell you just how fuel efficient thier Japanese small car is, so then you talk REAL MPG numbers about your Cadillac and their comparison goes something like: Well, it only costs me about $45 to fill my tank in my little Accord EX and that lasts me the WHOLE week, I get great fuel economy! >>>> me: ok, but what are you actually getting, what is the MPG? A full tank of gas lasts the whole week and I drive a LOT. >>>> me: do you understand the difference between ACTUAL MPG numbers & that non-nonsensical, useless statement you just made? This kind of thing drives me bananas!!!! It's like you ask me: How much $/hr. do you make at UPS? It's not a lot, I go to Wendy's four or five times a week and I put a full tank of regular unleaded in my '77 Cadillac & 75% of my paycheck is gone... >>>>>>>>> you: Ooooookay, but how much is it? How many dollar$ an hour? Well, the other day I spent my entire UPS paycheck on eBay and all I bought was a new intake & carb. for my '63 Imapala. That's a good indicator, no?

Yup, that same crazy guy XP mentioned with the 1.5 DeLoreans in his possession has been daily driving (for about 4+ years now) a Rabbit diesel that HE himself converted to a veggie car, spending about $500 to do it. Very eccentric. Balthazar: I've got a few dozen stories too from knocking on peoples doors or playing the telephone wild goose chase game to track down the "owner" of a once majestic but now forgotten/neglected car. There's this 1969 Camaro that has been sitting (actually more like ROTTING into the dirt) in a side yard. Knock o the door, lady opens it, ask about the car the door gets slammed in your face. After several attempts in the late 1990s and one in 2001 I was told he car has been parked there since the mid-1970s and the door has been slamming in people's faces since about the same time.

Yes, correctly mounted pancake motor is one of the few reasons why WRX > Evo

I've seen many a small block Chevy powered Toyota. Too many to count, Old Land Cruisers, '70s /'80s pickups, even a few old school RWD Corollas.

Stop the F***ing presses, I think I hear the 12 horsemen of the apocolipse approaching! I agree w/ Siegen 100% about something, LOL The last facelift for the last gen. Impreza/WRX/STi was fantastic... the new Impreza is GROSS like an infected zit on a crackwhore's pu***flap.
